Dude— statistics don’t lie.

hes not even in the top 100 for touchdowns.

only 31st in yardage...

And he can’t catch when the ball isn’t perfect.

i posted an article with the statistics comparing him to DeAndre Hopkins— it was bad when not comparing their almost even yardage.

he doesn’t close in the red zone and doesn’t close games.

im not saying that as a Falcon hater. It’s just facts.

ill post all three spread sheets with raw data for you again— it’s just facts— like gravity.

https://www.google.com/amp/s/sports.nbcsports.com/2019/07/22/deandre-hopkins-houston-texans-nfl-best-receiver/amp/

I gave you this one again— you can get take the time to look at the rest— just type in receiving touchdowns all time and receiving yards,..

when I watch games with him— catches and runs unbelievable in the open field.

when the ball isn’t perfect, but catchable— nope—

Did you not see the catch in the super bowl to seal the game (until they dumb asss kept throwing it lol ) that was one of the best catches in the moment i ever seen . Dude make spectacular catches a lot just make em look easy . So I’m not buying that . If you don’t think he top 10 cool but he doesn’t only catch catchable balls

The flow of the game dictates a lot of what happens. The offense is somewhat limited right now, as it doesn’t have the amperage to rally from a deficit. That’s a quarterback issue. That’s a protection issue. I think the receivers are decent, but I think you need somebody out there who can take over a game at some point. McCaffrey is very much that from a multi-dimensional perspective, but he’s not a vertical threat.

Let’s also keep in mind: when you get into a 21-3 hole against an elite defense on the road on a windy day, you’re asking any QB to do a lot. Cam might’ve pulled it off. but I doubt it. It was a team loss. And the receivers are part of that mix.

^This is assessment is right in line with what I see.  I will say this, I'd love a #1 WR who can take over a game too but at the same time there isn't a whole lot of them out there or every team would have one.  Closest we got is probably Samuel and we don't have the tools right now (QB and/or protection) to even utilize his skillset properly.

Post the game where he had almost 300 yards receiving against us too . Lol

Yeh it was a beat down— no game on the line and he caught most of those open field and uncontested.

kyle Shanahan does a great job of scheming guys open,.. when it’s going his way,...

Ginn when he was here was better than either of these 2.

hell,.. he’s better than they are TODAY.

now this was probably pass interference, but Julio got back up and had plenty of time, out jumped the CB and had the ball dead to rights—-

playoffs over.

And here’s the article with him against Josh Norman a few years back.

the dude can catch and go like hell in the open field,.. but when he’s contested he chokes—

notice even the 80 yards on Josh Norman resulted in bla for touchdowns.

he can’t score unless he catches uncontested on the way to the endzone.

This is precisely why we can't say Cam couldn't have turned last week into a win. Even something as small as going 3 and out quickly (which Kyle did a couple of times early when we were still in it) means less rest for the defense and can impact the entire game depending on when and how it happens.
