D-Lew, Kevin D and Brian Baldinger talk Panthers

Both former Panthers were on WFNZ talking about the 9er game and their thoughts on what’s going on with the team. Will highlight a few comments.

D-Lew says we definitely need Cam back if we have any hopes of making the playoffs

As far as the trenches no trade, need a wr who can take the top off

Huge game for Kyle against another really good defense. Needs to learn from the 9er loss and make better decisions

Kevin D said he likes the current o-line, thinks they just went against a very good 9er front. O-line was not the only problem Sunday.

Said he doesn’t think 2019 will be a rerun of 2018. We had a injured Cam barely able to throw 15 yards.

Thinks Kyle will have a good game against the Titans.

Brian Baldinger thinks AJ Green would be a nice addition for the Panthers

Said everyone played poorly Sunday, said they all need to look in a mirror

Said Kyle has played well his first four games, as good as you can expect from any UDFA

Said the Aints are the best in the NFC, 9ers are a close 2nd

Said there is no competition in the AFC for the Pats, will roll thru the playoffs

Baldy usually gives a really good assessment after games and I agree with what he's said. I expect an angry team to face the Titans. If they don't come out there with the attitude of a pissed off raccoon with rabies on top of bath salts on Sunday, don't bother to suit up.

Pie just for that description. I needed that laugh, thanks!

Agree. Oline wasn’t the problem even though it looked like it. Poor coaching is the reason we lost

IMO the offensive and defensive game plan was horrendous. Turner had nothing to counter the pass rush. Defensively we look completely lost.

We better stomp Tennessee at home.

Allen has done a good job manning the helm but Cam (100% Cam) brings an extra element to our offense.

hilarious.  up here in the mtns the raccoons are not fat and friendly.  i can't imagine dealing with one on bath salts.   and its also kinda funny to think about our players ripping tn's helmets off and trying to eat their faces.

maybe 15 yrs ago i had chickens.   one night all hell broke loose and i go outside to see what's going on.   i shine the flashlight towards the coop and here comes a raccoon across the yard holding a chicken by the neck in one hand and running across the yard on 2 legs.   it looked just like the hamburgler.   for a second i thought the hamburgler was robbing me.

As Smitty said, the Titans do have good DBs, so don't expect much of anything from Moore/Samuel. We'd better hope for a couple of things or it is going to be a long day.

  • The Titans don't look at tape and can't emulate what the 49ers did. Spoiler Alert - the 49ers just created the template all other teams are going to try and follow.
  • The coaching staff decides to show up.
  • Wright doesn't develop alligator arms going over the middle again.
  • CMC/Olsen have big days. This would be a great time to let Ian Thomas get some reps. Don't hold your breath.
