Patriots are not that good on offense, and their defense when they play somebody won't look as good. Then again if u look at their schedule it looks like they play all high school teams again.

If we sell the farm for anyone it has to be Trent Williams. AJ Green is a beast but I don't feel comfortable forking over for him when we haven't even been able to tap into Curtis Samuel yet.

If "selling the farm" is only a 2nd rounder, or a 2nd and 4th or something like that, then that is A-OK with me.  Do we really think we will find a better LT in the 2nd round than Trent Williams?

Trent Williams is easily worth a first round pick.

Don’t have access to film, but gotta be a player who can help fix the run defense, but I think that is due to the 3-4 and gap discipline 

I don’t think our WR core is needy at the top, more so in need of depth, I think Samuel has been getting open downfield regularly.

o line There is too much Movement, although I think the right line up can field an above average unit, a upgrade at such and important position is always welcomed 

secondary hasn’t been tested yet and unfortunately won’t be until after the trade deadline vs guys like Rodgers, Brees, and Wilson.

I’d go with fixing or upgrading the o line first, a very close second being whatever is needed to fix this run defense

Our Qb can’t stay healthy and we just gave up 7 sacks. Tackle positions has been a revolving door for years.

Our defense just gave up 51 with Shaq and Bradberry starting.

Seems like a no-brainer

considering how terribly our coaching staff has developed our WRs at gaining separation, why would anyone want us to continue to draft them?

if we want a good wr that can get open we need to trade for one.

I like the idea of Williams in a vacuum, but with drafting two promising rookies at LT, giving up a draft pick and salary for another more proven one just feels like a lot of resources/value into the position. I feel like adding Williams is just a knee jerk reaction to an awful 49ers game. Let the rookies grow and remove Daryl from the lineup. 

AJ Green is a lot more interesting to me, but where is he at with his injury and contract? Again, we’ve put in a lot of work into that position, but Samuel and Moore haven’t been as explosive this year as I was hoping. They aren’t bad but they appear to just be fitting in roles for the offense where CMC is the guy. How does a full speed AJ change the offense as a whole? Not sure if it’s good or bad. Also, it’s hard to tell what the real ceiling of the offense is and again not over react to a bad game. Maybe I just talked myself out of this trade too...
