I’d consider packaging a 2nd and future 3rd for Williams.

this offense has to be multifaceted if we are seriously thinking about contending. Playing from behind shouldn’t be a automatic death sentence for this team

It will be odd if the deadline passes and nothing happens.  I guess that could mean the plan didn't work and we bring up someone from the practice squad.

Exactly Marty got us Olsen at a bargain and I’d say that’s worked out pretty damn well for the team. People wanting to fold up the towel at 4-3 are ridiculous. Would hate for any of them to be the towel man in an MMA or boxing match. Everybody gets punched in the mouth, loses a round, loses a fight.

Of course there’s a chance we’re in for  a swan dive now but we don’t know after 7 games. The run defense is fixable, the oline is without unfathomable DW love and some consistency , and we’re getting our pro bowl, MVP, franchise QB back. Of course I would keep our first rd pick but a 3rd or anything like that that would shore up a need with a quality vet...go for it

Wow they saying Saints trying to get AJ Green. I just want to know how we can't get all these deals done because it always says Saints have no cap. I mean damn they are paying Brees and Thomas half their cap. I just don't understand how they can do this sh!t and we can't.

You don't know what QB you're getting back. Also we have lost so many conference games that it will come back and haunt us. Still have to play Packers, Seahawks, and Saints twice. It's pretty much over. Everyone can poo all they want but I don't want to just be mediocre, it's time for a change. Coaching staff and all!

Elite teams that stay good year after year like the Patriots, Seahawks, and Saints are *always* involved in trade talks for elite talent. We never are because we're too scared of the asking price. Too bad, I was hoping Tepper would have stepped in and lit a fire under Hurney's ass, but I guess not. Hope the Saints enjoy another ring with AJ Green.

They need to get past Patriots in the SB which that is not likely if they make it there and they still have to play Niners later on. Still a lot of football left and they may not get through the playoffs(hopefully).

A lot of times there's ways you can manipulate contracts to free up just enough cap to sign someone else.

Thier GM might be backloading the deals or something so its possible they will be in extreme cap hell whenever all of that catches up to them.

Yeah but they have a really great chance of winning SB, we don't try to do things to win a SB. This franchise likes to be mediocre.
