Trent Williams or Roddy Anderson who i know you could’ve got for a 3rd . People  over rate draft capital as if every  pick mean you gonna get a star

Washington played themselves with Williams, they never wanted to trade him and now at the last minute their expecting elite young talent AND a first.

Yeah people over rate draft capital if you fug up the pick but it still doesn't mean you let a team fleece the poo out of you for a player because you're desperate last minute.

The entire league stopped at a fourth for Anderson because it's a 8 game rental for an udfa that'll be 27 and looking for the richest contract he can. Everyone knows his contract won't net a 3rd comp back in return if it's indeed a rental so the risk for 31 teams wasn't their to acquire him.

Legit question when the last time we found a legit star or pro bowler  after the first or second round like other teams do ? We pass up on a lot of good guys cause they don’t fit our “mold “ lol character guys

Andrew Norwell was undrafted.

There were a couple of non trade transactions that happened while we were all waiting for a trade.

The Seahawks put center Justin Britt on injured reserve.

Likewise, the Jaguars put receiver Marquise Lee on IR.

Also being reported now that the Ravens made a push to get Jamal Adams prior to the deadline but couldn't seal the deal.

Now he’s overpaid and haven’t been to the pro bowl since . Gettleman was a beast at udfa but sucked at later draft picks i don’t get that at all lol

It doesn't happen with other teams as often as you think.

The vast majority of later round picks who do stick with a team tend to do so for only a couple of years. They're pretty commonly special teamers or role players for whatever time they do have, and it's fairly common for them to get replaced by other low picks,  undrafted players or low priced free agents.

There are most certainly success stories, but they're not really that common.
