theres no one or even 2 players that fix everything. Cam at 100% might have extended a few drives and bought more rest for the defense.

a couple of real safeties and a whole new offensive line,..

and then you get to a couple of real receivers,...

Panthers need a WR but won't trade for one. I thought for sure when Jarius Wright got taken to the locker room on a cart that Hurney would be hitting the phone lines, but then he came back in the game.

Robby Anderson would be a nice get for us. He can play outside and we can slide DJ to the slot where he belongs

If Tepper allows Hurney to trade away future picks/assets then we will know what the plan is going forward.

 

Pretty sure that's probably not going to happen.

How about getting a WR that can return kicks.

I mean, it is going to really stuck to be in a good game with Green Bay or New Orleans and then have some clown muff a punt that kills the game.  Because look....that is what is going to happen. 

I mean this clearly seems to be an organizational issue at this point.   Decade long problem.

I'd like to see what we have in Ian Thomas, and I doubt Tampa would trade him in the division. That said, a trade for OJ Howard could be similar to the trade Hurney made for Greg Olsen. The Bears at the time of the Olsen trade ran Martz's offense which didn't throw to the TE much. Likewise, Arians never used the TE as a big part of his passing game in Arizona.

Maybe, but TE's typically take a while to pop on the scene...he should be hitting his stride now.

Side note, it's why I'm 100% against taking a TE in the 1st round.

I don't know how seriously to take that. Maybe. it could also be that Marty's "plan" is to bring somebody up from the practice squad.

Even if they are "working on something", they still have to get it worked out before 4pm tomorrow.
