Including the scores is a good move.  It shows that even in our wins we weren't necessarily on our game.  About the only really quality win above is the 2015 Seattle win.  That one was pretty amazing.

Couple of really lucky wins against bad teams included in there. All losses by double digits except one. All wins by single digits except one. Not impressive at all.

Before the game I think Voth pointed out that we had won our last 5, contrary to popular belief.

Frankly I think the extra week doesn't matter because Ron just isn't much of a schemer, so he can't take advantage of extra prep time anyway. I maintain that his only real strength is being a locker room dad and I think bye weeks often reset the momentum that he relies on.

Scraping by with wins after a bye week against far inferior opponents is p typical. Look at last years game against the awful Giants that took a miracle 60 yard field goal to pull off. A one score game against the Jets the previous season.

It is what it is, just around .500 which is standard Rivera.

Really close to losing on a delay of game.  Just got the snap off for the Olsen TD.  Rivera teams after the bye look like Rivera teams in Wk 1.

I understand the thought, but I'm not thinking about the bye week as much in this case.

The reason? I've pondered what this game would have looked like had we only had one weeks preparation.

We might have lost a hundred to nothing.

This game was two-three plays away from being a shutout. Luke's int (3 points), the safety (2) and McCaffrey's TD (8).

51-0

lol what a joke

1 weeks prep just means 1 week less of fishing. Would have probably improved the performance.  It’s a pattern that can’t be ignored. He’s too soft on the players and he mentally flatlines in critical situations.  His staff hires are questionable, depth chart confusing.  I’m struggling to see why he still has a headset?

(I love fishing)

Not sure what I'm supposed to take from this.  It's.....pretty subpar?  I don't know that our performance after Bye weeks in the Riv-era era...era...ay ay ay, is damning enough to have become such a popular derogatory talking point on these boards.  Seems pretty sensationalized to me.

"Have you SEEN Rivera's record after the Bye..?!!? WE'RE DOOMED!!!" - stated ad nauseam before EVERY post-bye game of the last 5-6 seasons.

Jets and Giants...we were lucky in those wins...if we played reputable teams...im sure we would have been ill prepared...its just the ronald vibe...

Yeah both those games we were actually completely unprepared and deserved to lose. Got lucky with Gano’s kick against the Giants and a FR TD and PR TD against the Jets to barely win that one too.
