Worst blowout of the Rivera era. Third worst blowout in team history.

I wouldn’t say this means the team falls apart, a lot of teams have a game like this one and rebound.
what I would say is that the NFCS was just given to the Aints, no way we win the division.

No rebound going to happen. They are not ready for prime time and haven't been since 2015. As far as the saints go, they have a good coach and a solid team....we have neither.

But.....but....he brought us above having an all time losing record, look at the statistics. Must 100% must mean he's great.

No competent defensive coach would have this many pathetically embarassing games with the kind of talent we have on defence.

We look like crap losing all the time, keep supporting that trash and you'll witness this shitshow over and over. The Rivera defence squad sure talked up the Panthers vaunted defence to the niners fan. How'd that go?

Imagine what the players must have felt like today. We know they're better than that, so do they. The Rivera club though will just bring up the magic number and be content with watching our talent go to waste.

Maybe it's not a good idea to line your staff with only your best buds because they won't rock the boat if the going gets tough?

What did Sean Payton do for this year? He went out and brought in a sound defensive mind outside his own perceived comfort zone, and the Saints are 7-1 without Brees for multiple games.

Umm, Dennis Allen has been our DC since Week 11 of 2015 (and he was groomed in-house for 5.5 years prior). Our DB coach has been here since 2016, and our DL and LB coaches both joined in 2017. So they're all going into their 3rd year of coaching together.

However, your first sentence is something that had plagued us for YEARS before Payton finally fired his cronies on the defensive side the ball (Bill Johnson and Joe Vitt) and on special teams (Greg McMahon). Every time a DC was fired, he was scapegoated and the new DC would come in and be micromanaged by Payton's yes men until he left or was fired and the cycle repeated: Gibbs to Williams to Spagnuolo to Ryan, and even Allen had to deal with Johnson and Vitt for a year and a half.

I'm more disappointed with the defense than the offense. The offense at least has an excuse. The defense was piss poor and had several instances where they looked like they just didnt care. Shanahan and Coleman killed us in Atlanta and they did it again today

The offense became one dimensional after the 1st quarter. I wonder if we had came up with that tipped ball on the opening drive by the Niners (where the ball got tipped into the air and another niners receiver caught it for a first down), if this game may have taken a different turn? Lol... probably not, huh?

It’s the “Ron and Friends” sh!t show and Mr. Tepper watched it from the front row. I wonder what he’s thinking?

Our run D had been below average all season, and now we met a team who fully showcased it.
