Jimmy G put up 52 points himself? No help from the 49ers defense?

And the Panthers O-line didn't get continuously pimp-slapped today--ALL day long?  It works both ways.  See It's pretty easy to rack up sacks when you are playing 3+ TDs down all but a handful of minutes in the game in a must pass situation nearly every down.

The OL is a problem, that's obvious. We haven't exactly done ourselves any favors in the must pass situations with the long developing plays behind what we know is a struggling offensive line though. This was also an issue last year. Even against the Eagles in 2018 we went down early. Cam led the comeback win.

Allen has played admirably, but as of right now he has not shown the ability to overcome a deficit. Will he? Time will tell. But if our defense and particularly our head coach can't get it together it won't matter who is behind center.

Maybe, but Cam has been known to hold on to the ball.  On the flip side, the 49ers could have had more sacks.  Who knows?

That would depend on if bulldozer Cam or sissy Cam shows up. If it's bulldozer Cam, I don't think they'd have gotten nearly as many.

Oh, how convenient of you to point out 'join dates'.  How blissfully nice; I've joined and re-joined this cesspool for well over 16-years.  It's guys like you why I haven't been a consistent contributor this entire time.  I can only stand tripe for so long before I need a break.  I was probably a Panthers fan before you were born or while still costing your parents a small fortune in diapers.

You are beyond fuging pathetic loser. I’ve been a fan since before you were born dumbass it was 1995, not 1956.

Your racist bullshit agenda is showing with  the whole if Cam loses one game he should be gone. Go French kiss your cousin and fug off

We can agree on that! :)  Look, I'm not a Cam hater or and even an Allen fan, all I want is for this team to be successful.  I don't think Allen is really the long-term answer, but I also think Cam has peaked and is on the decline.  If Cam can turn on that 2015 magic again, I'm all for it.  Can he do it again?  I'm not so sure.  If so, I'm jumping on the Newton bandwagon.  I'm a Panthers fan first and foremost and whoever makes this thing go, I'm behind them 100% of the way.

Oh gosh no!  Do you think the 49ers would have taken pity on him or something????  As ugly as it was, Grier has shown no ability to make quick, accurate throws under duress.

Oh I wouldn't know bc the preseason isn't a judgement

For fugs sake, both the cam and the allen nut huggers can fug off.  The game thread was chock full of this poo and it needs to end.  If you're just a fan of a player and not the team, then please see yourself out.  Cam is taking the loss harder than his "supporters" and allen supports cam more than Allen's "supporters".

Yep, it's sad that in a college-saturated football area like I live in, the "hot take" on today's game was what a win or a loss would mean for Cam Newton rather than the Panthers vs. 49ers game itself.  Seriously.  Being an oddity as a NFL over NCAAF guy in my locality, that question was posed to me several times by acquaintances knowing I'm a die-hard Panthers fan.  Not once was I asked about scope of the up coming game alone.
