Groin injury for Daley? Williams to LT

It’s why judging the 2019 draft class as if it’s the best ever was way too premature. If Little ends up like some others who couldn’t get past concussions, we will have gotten a 3rd RB, 3rd QB and backup DE/OLB for picks 47, 77, 100 and 115 in a deep G, S and DT draft. Wouldn’t shock me at all if this draft ends up as Burns and Daley as impacts and that’s not a deep draft. I don’t hope for that, but it’s way too early to judge the draft class outside of Burns and Daley looking to be great picks.

Can I dangle the passing over of Omenihu to you just to push you over the edge?
Cheers.

so Trai is starting and Daryl is sitting?

This makes me think our line may be really stout this game when needed the most. I can see us really running it this game unless they sellout to stop the run, we might go 63 37 run to pass. Try to really break there will by popping one or two big ones.

I'm starting to wonder if we're going to see much of Little at all this season.

And given what he's suffering from, I'm also questioning whether we should.

I'd put him on IR for the rest of the season. Let him heal up totally before he gets back out there. Hopefully Daley pans out on the left. If so I'd atleast "think" about moving Little inside so he wouldn't be exposed in space. Minimize the possibility, if that's feasible. BUT if he goes back out there again at any position, one thing is for certain: He should definitely be investing in that gadget Luke wears around his neck.

"If" he rounds back to form, my only concern on the line would then be Center going forward. I honestly think Paradis is a quality backup peice. An expensive one at that.

Daley had that injury before the Bucs game and still played. He should be good to go barring a set back.

Yeah, but groins need time doing nothing to heal.  He could have tweaked it during the game, at practice, or doing the ever-popular electric slide at his favorite discotheque.

I tweaked my groin on your dad last night.

Lol. I’m not even trying to say it’s a bad draft, Omenihu aside, just that the lauding of it is way too early. It could be solid or it could be Burns and who knows. Even Daley is way too early. Remember early 2018 when we actually felt like Chris Clark was a huge improvement over Kalil? His play dropped off like a rock.

Well in fairness, Chris Clark was a huge improvement over Kalil. Kalil was just that bad.

While I'm thinking about it, here's a concern of mine going into next year:

I really do believe we need some improvements along the offensive line, and that if we were to make the kind of commitment that we've seen teams like the Cowboys make on that front, we could really make some noise in the future.

Going back to what we see right now though, I think the quick passing game is making some of our guys look better than they really are. And that could lead to us saying "nah, we're good".

Rivera hasn't been someone who's prioritized the offensive line. I would really like to see that change.

Where would you look to make the tradeoff?
