Absolutely false.

Stop lying to yourself. We could take a poll on the huddle and I bet you the number of fans here that would want to trade newton is higher than 10%. But that doesnt include the casual yahoos and facebook posters that aren't huddle members. You need to look at life outside the huddle before you make an absurd assessment like that.

The point is you implied "a large portion" of the fan base wants Cam traded at any cost...

...then when challenged you backed off and suggested something north of "10%" (a mere sliver) wants Cam traded at any cost...

Bottom line:  Literally nobody wants him traded at any cost.  (and dont try to wriggle out of it, thats exactly what you were suggesting...at any cost)

A large portion of the fan base hated Jakes 2009 contract after is horrendous playoff game.

A large portion of the fan base was happy he was shipped the next year.

Now I don’t know what a large portion means, how to quantify it, but if I wanted to suggest the f-150s are the large portion of the fan base, then it’s fair to suggest they hate all bad QBs. Thinly veiled suggestions are thinly veiled or as that term outdated here now?

I would stand by 30%..  no wriggle that 10% was in reply to another poster where I said its definitely higher than 10% get your facts straight. If anyone operates out of fake news its you.

Nobody knows if Cam will ever be the same player he was from pre-2018 injury and more the Cam before the SD game in 2016. If a team with two firsts and more comes calling, I'm not sure that it does not intrigue you as a GM.  We do not know if Cam is going to resign or retire come 2020-2021.

Mentally and Emotionally Cam does not seem to be interested in football at the moment. None of us truly know what is going on in his mind. This team does need to position for Post Cam era as it will happen in the next two years.

This literally makes no sense. You throw in an unnecessary shot about his professionalism towards the team only to say we don’t know what’s going on in his head? Sounds like you want to get your blows in while you can

73% of twitter content by 6% of users.     please stop reading facebook - an algorithm designed to produce outrage - and twitter to make up your mind about what people think.    you can't do it that way.  a tiny tiny percentage of people are holding you hostage in your own emotions and thoughts.

Again I think your not paying attention to the world outside of the huddle if you think much differently. Have a conversation with the average north/south carolinian fan and I'm sure you would be surprised how they are probably ready to move on. I know it seems crazy to think people who use facebook are mostly regular people who have found an outlet to have their voices heard but I believe that's what it was intended for.

It doesnt even have to be facebook look around the media outlets their opinions and if you tried to formulate a number based off that you would come to a similar stance. I'm not saying that's what I want at all obviously just stating what I see and believe to be true. You can feel free to disagree but I urge u to take a closer look.

oh boy.  you have absolutely no idea what the purpose of facebook was/is.   none at all.  its a social engineering website.  i would encourage you to get off of it for your own good.   i also know how to take samples and talking to an 'average' person on the street is not how its done.   you couldn't know less about what you're talking about if you tried.

Do I WANT to see Cam traded?  Depends.  I think right now, while he's still a mystery, he may have higher value if he truly can't play anymore... but he could come back remembering how to play football and lead us to a superbowl.  Unfortunately, I am all but certain he's going to come back and be a total flop.

And for the record, I truly hope he makes me eat those words.

So reading through some of your post, I do not believe Kyle Allen to be the savior of the franchise like many want to anoint. Healthy Cam gives this team the best chance to win, but the concern is we may never see that Cam again. It took Olsen basically a full year to get better from it. Cam takes more punishment than Greg does every game, so the risk of having to have surgery on it is real.

Cam has alot of guts to deal with the injuries, play through them, and admit he shouldn't be playing at the same time he put the team in a tough spot by hiding the injury and not giving us the best chance to win those games as he was hurt.

Life after Cam is soon coming and this team must prepare.  If we get offered 3 firsts for Cam, it would be dumb to turn that down. We can't guarantee Cam won't sign elsewhere when his contact is up to not have to deal with Ron anymore. One thing, how have the delays of games and wasted TO's disappeared when we still have the same Offensive Coordinator and same mismanagement head coach Ron?
