Also, be aware that support of Eric Reid among his teammates could motivate the entire team to play absolutely out of their skins to have his back.

Why would the name matter, or if he is a cop? Its a legit post, Eric Reid is eager to play his old team, just like manner other on the Panther's who played against old team and performed well. I am not saying Reid will head hunt, but due to the graphic nature of this program, Referee discretion is not advised. *Edit* McCoy played with more fire against the Buccs, and got a penalty for it.. It is just something to put into consideration... its not some Anti-Eric Reid Drivel like people think it is.

I’ve done a pretty good bit of analysis leading up to this game. What a player thinks about his former team is nowhere on my radar.

well, it was on Steve Smith's radar.  I wonder which one of the Panthers mowed his lawn.  Hope they kept it clean.  (I do miss the soundbytes)

I mean, I do think it can factor into effort and play sometimes.  And doing extra or being a little more amped up can be a bit of a double edge sword at times.

That’s fine. But Steve Smith was a much more dynamic and impactful player than Eric Reid. And that’s not a shot at Eric, but Smith is a Hall of Famer. Also, he did it against a terrible secondary that day.

Do they though? The whole Reid and Kaepernick thing flamed out about  3 years ago.. no one really cares anymore. Honestly, people have moved onto other things like calling Dave Chappelle an Uncle Tom or Anti-LGTBQ or maybe which singer is under the mask.

Honestly, we have seen Reid get hot headed and lose his cool and commit some dumb penalties in the past but we haven't seen that from him lately. I'm not really concerned about it.

This game comes down to our ability to stop their running game and taking care of the football IMO.
