Going off logic traded players have already made squads and are being acquired at last minutes notice. Seems like players the team would have rather held onto but due to some circumstances had to move on from. Either way doesnt mean you suck. Emmanuel Sanders was traded yesterday and he has been to pro bowls only 30.

That's my point. Traded players are exchanged for other valuable assets, not fired and kicked to the curb.

Watching this guy over years and seeing the replies, I know who else has seen him play. He may have fell off the wagon, but has experience where the Panthers need help. He would be a great addition, he would vastly improve PK, KR, and 3/4 WR spots.

Also if you are referencing just being signed mid season like I said see Eric Reid. Hell to a lesser degree

All the guys on that list are either washed up, terrible or have major injury issues except AB and AB is only available because he is a crazy person that is being sued for rape, threatened somebody’s children, froze his feet off and tried to fight his GM.

I don't think that's the case if your looking for someone to help, not a superstar.. at this point your looking for Wright/Hogan level support to your roster. I think any of these dudes have shown and are young enough to help you as a 4/5 in that area addition.

I’m talking about that 10 man list of current FAs you posted:

AB - crazy

Swearinger - gave up 9000 yards to TEs in 5 games

Zach Brown - terrible

Berry - can’t pass a physical because he has a bone digging into his achilles

Perry - knee is shot

McDonald - worse than swearinger in coverage

Wilkerson - ankle is messed up

Ajayi - terrible knees, might get signed late for a postseason run but can’t handle any extended load

Gaines - injuries

Bryant - serially suspended and locker room cancer

And out of all the issues you list all are worth a minimum risk as a back up 4/5 stringer.. you not garnering superstars here.. it's a gamble. All have the talent worth of risk of minimum contract.

Looks like a good kick returner but bad punt returner with fumbles. Why would you want this guy so bad?

KR is a deprecated position.

Roman Harper was talking about the devaluation of all return specialists. It just doesnt mattr much if you can catch since punters are so much better now.
