Suffered a fractured leg last year.  As we saw with Bene, players can lose something after such an injury.  Suspended for substance abuse this year.  Also this year, he has a similar fumble rate to the guy we just released.  No point in looking at him.

Ah...

Yeah, gotta say those are some things that would make me pump the brakes a little.

And honestly, I'm always a little bit leery when a guy is released from a franchise that isn't known for making stupid moves. Generally speaking, I think Beach and Reid tend toward good decisions.

(granted, there are exceptions)

I don't mean to be a wet blanket guys, but if he's that good, why is he unemployed?

Didn't  we learn a lesson from this in the Gerald McCoy saga.. like Cam said, one mans trash is another mans treasure. Teams have different strengths and weaknesses.. KC has invested heavy in the speed department in recent years seeing as they have tyrek Hill,Mecole hardman, DeMarcus Robinson and so on. A few guys are bound to get lost in the shuffle as they try to infuse youth.

Doesnt mean he sucks.. also could the team could have done this at Anthony's request. He was a long time chief second round pick whom they fostered for years and he probably wanted a chance for a bigger role.

We're comparing a special teamer to a a guy who was a former #3 overall pick, multiple time All-Pro, and has gone to six straight Pro Bowls?

Good players don't become available mid-season unless something is up. That something here is probably the fumbles. Off-season roster restructuring is a different story and is oftentimes a decision about cap space or when there is a coaching change, scheme fit.

No your being to specific... the exact talent level isn't the same but that doesnt mean he sucks at football. Plus we are talking about a kick returner.. not our need for some upgrade at wr. I do think he could have upgraded our special teams and added a spark as say a 4th wr...

And yes PLENTY of good players become available around this time look at all this trade deadline activity.. from Ramsey to Peter's and those that got moved yesterday and today. Getting traded or signed see Eric Reed doesnt mean you suck. You guys need to stop that.

Getting traded is a lot different than getting cut mid-season.

Going off logic traded players have already made squads and are being acquired at last minutes notice. Seems like players the team would have rather held onto but due to some circumstances had to move on from. Either way doesnt mean you suck. Emmanuel Sanders was traded yesterday and he has been to pro bowls only 30.

Also if you are referencing just being signed mid season like I said see Eric Reid. Hell to a lesser degree
