Agree 100%.

Last year the NBA playoffs on TV in Charlotte were interrupted because the local affiliate wanted to cover some potential tornadoes in Hickory a 100 miles away....total horsesh*t.

If you put a gun to my head and told me to check Twitter for anything, I will admit that at that point I would at least give it some thought, otherwise my life is perfectly fine Twitter free.

I look at Twitter for sports news.

Anything else and I feel like I'm in danger of losing brain cells.
