Yeah same. I was all over this message board saying the only way we lose the game is if Von goes off. Well he did...it was like watching my own personal nightmare.

i had to reevaluate my fandom after that game. It made me so upset I felt depressed for two weeks. Pathetic. I won’t ever get that high about football ever again.

Same.  Had to take a straight up sabbatical from everything football after that season and the shitty way it ended.  Said I’d never let this poo effect me like that again.  I don’t care nearly as much as I used to.  Still, sometimes though I’ll catch myself getting a bit riled up during a game and just have to remind myself to calm the fug down, it’s just a game... lol it makes handling the losses a hell of a lot easier.

49's fans are really trash.

"f**k the Panthers and their s**tty ass fans.........they've had a hard on for Kap , and that "KEEP POUNDING" s**t is the gheyest thing ever.......I know one fan personally and he irks the hell out of me.

Let's smash this UFA POS and make them yearn back for the cross dresser QB."

I didnt hear the speech by Sam but I would never disrespect the courage that he showed in front of his friends and colleagues facing his own mortality. Keep pounding means so much to franchise and the community as a whole. Kind of gets me in the feels the same way Jimmy V's speech did.

I know the likelihood is nil, but a comment like that makes me want this team to drop the first century in NFL history on them.

Fairly weak competition? They have played no one....easiest schedule in the nfl.

Go read the CBS article about that.  The journalist said (rightfully so) that 90% of the teams in the league would be 6-0 with their schedule.

Yeeeesh. Yeah, I knew their schedule was a cupcake walk but yeah that article really paints it for you on how pathetic it has been.

This is going to be a great test for our reworked offensive line. If they can hold up, we’ve got a shot.

if not, Allen is going to fumble a minimum of three times.

Our o-line won't be so reworked this week. The only starter out is Greg Little at LT. Trai Turner should be back. Daley will be LT and he was good last game. They'll hold up just fine. I agree, it's gonna be a test but I think we win that battle.

In what crazy world would signing Sanders on a Tuesday alter our gameplan for this weekend?

He doesn’t add anything new or fundamentally different.  Just a different body.  He also isn’t going to alter what the run pass ratio is going to be going in.

Right? All of their WRs are the same guy. Who cares what name is on the jersey?

So the 9ers are going to put 30 on the board? Maybe if we’re up by 3 scores in the fourth and Ron calls off the dogs

Alot of their fans either ignore or don’t know that our D is pretty good as well.

Definitely the game that shuts down Panther haters if we go there and win

It's pretty much to be expected from fans from an undefeated team.

I went on 49ers webzone and I can confirm a lot of them seem pretty confident their team will shut down CMC and force Allen into making several turnovers.

Although its annoying like a lot of other ignorant nfl fans they're taking the last game we played as gospel and think CMC isn't all that. When in reality the Bucs just have a monstrous run defense and CMC had defenders in them backfield on runs almost the entire game.

What a lot of them don't seem to realize is they've beaten mostly bottom feeders thus far and their best win is against the Rams who only barely beat us while we were trotting out a hobbled Cam.

Id expect LOTS of runs in this game.

I won't be shocked if the opposite happens and we get Steeler'd again. On paper, the 49ers are one of the worst match ups in the league for us IMO. I'll be very encouraged if we win this game.

I'm not happy about being right about this, but unfortunately this is what I thought might happen.
