Predictions - Panthers at 49ers

I'll never understand this argument.

"You guys played bad teams, therefore you will lose". Its weird. Its like they didn't beat the dorrs off almost all those teams and now that they play a "real" team, obviously everything will be different.

I heard the Browns fans be like "you've played nobody, you've never seen OBJ or Landry type players". Rams fans be like "We've beaten you several times in a row, you haven't seen receivers like this". Redskins fans be like "yeah, please be merciful". LOL.  Typically, its AFTER the game when people start saying "yeah, but it was the Browns pr Yeah, but it was the Rams.

The beat-down by the 49ers is part of what shapes the narrative. They can only play the teams on their schedule.

I mean I get the point. Obviously, there have bene bad teams on the schedule. The ONLY think the 49ers can do is beat those teams decisively...which they did. Its not like these are 1 point wins. Their worst non-weatehr game was probably the Bucs, and Jimmy was clearly still rusty. Sonce then, the only game that they didn't win by 2 or more scores was the Steelers, where they developed a habit of dribbling the ball inside the Steeler 15 yardline. Statistically in every way but the score, they obliterated the Steelers.

I'm making no predictions RE Sunday. That not what I do. If the Panthers win I'll be here on Monday and I'll give you guys a hearty congratulations and say see ya in the playoffs. I think the Panther D will be a challenge, particularly without the Niner starting tackles. I think CMC is going to be a challenge a sthe Niners have at times been susceptible to the run.

If the Niners lose, its won't be because they had a cakewalk schedule. It won't be because they are overrated. It will be because the Panthers are good. I would think that would be the reason you would want it to happen.

If the Niners win, I can all but guarantee that someone upcoming will count the Panthers as a team that sucks and that the only reason the Niners beat them. They'll be wrong. Two things can be equally true. BOTH TEAMS ARE GOOD.

I don’t think anyone here thinks y’all are a bad team. Far from it. But we don’t know yet if you are the class of the NFC like many of your fans on message boards are proclaiming. Panther fans know what it’s like to be dissed being undefeated except during our beginning stretch of 2015 we were beating the legion of boom, Drew brees and Andrew luck. If our all pro mvp qb wasn’t injured the first two games we had a high probability of being undefeated as well. Cam couldn’t plant his foot to throw. Why you saw such inconsistent passes our first game against the bucs. We haven’t played a good team minus the Texans. Who we completely shut down defensively.

this is a great test for both teams to see how they stack up.

I'll say it again, the 49ers have been coddled and caressed by the officials into their previous "wins" against us. 2013 Playoff game started with a Panther team that was obviously about to smash and the refs taking over the game not allowing the Panthers to play and in turn allowing the 49er to take cheap shots, jump into the back field and slowly line back up, no flag.

So my question is : Are we allowed to kick their asses this time?!? Huh NFL?

Oh here we go again with "refs caused the loss" bullshit.

49's fans just don't understand the fact that the refs have an impact on games and certain teams get gifted WINS.

Let's see Brooks strip/sack on Breez causing fumble which 9ers recover called back because of "roughing the passer", loss cost 9ers home field advantage against Seattle in NFCC. Yes trust me we all know bad calls have cost teams games. I'm just getting tired of hearing that excuse before it's happened.

    • That excuse would be interesting if it was really true. In the first halves, we’ve given up 50 points. In the 2nd halves we’ve given up 23 points. Both the Chargers and the Saints scored TDs on their opening drives, before Young even stepped on the field. The Saints scored on every single possession they had until we finally stopped one drive in the 4th quarter. This D has been run over, regardless of how bad Young played.
