More Fun Facts

49ers have played the weakest schedule to date of all the NFL.

They have played the 32nd, 26th, 24th, 23rd, 22nd and 13th ranked rushing offense...to build the 9th best Defense against the run.

and the 13th best rush offense averaged almost 6 yards a carry vs them.

Panthers have a top 10 rush attack featuring the best RB in the NFL this season.

Fun analysis?

49ers about to get their stats adjusted

Fun Fact:

49ers are 6-0 and lead the NFC West by two games

Carolina is 4-2, will not win your division, and likely not even get a wildcard place (see your own threads on this)

Missing Deebo would help the panthers. Ward not being hurt is a surprise too.

What are the 49ers biggest weakness right now?

WR is the biggest gap. Deebo is our best guy but he has a long way to go. We are rumored to be in the market and try to pull something off before the trade deadline, but I am not holding my breath. We cant get a huge impact player (like AJ Green) with a large salary because we have to resign Kittle and Buckner in the off season and the cap is already tight.

Why are you +5.5 and the over/under is 41

you answered your own question 2 posts later:  your record is 6-0, ours is 4-2.  The average bettor goes no further than that cursory glance to make his selection, and the bookies know it, so they price the product up a bit.

I guess we will have to agree to disagree, I don't think bookies set lines for the 'average better'

Well I got no problem with the over under.

Lines are lines.  They aren’t predictions as much as a reflection on getting the public to evenly place their money ....and we are small market Carolina team the nation rarely pays attention to  going up against a 6-0 team without Cam.

So I really get the line.  No problem with that either

Football is a game of matchups is all.  I like ours in this game.

Think it will be low scoring.  Turnover battle likely determines the winner.  Kicking game will factor.   Neither team is gonna want to be airing it out.

I agree it will be low scoring and a close game. Our kicking game has made me nervous, Gould has missed 7 FGs this year alone. But our punter is a badass aussie who can boom it and has several different kicks he uses.

We got a really really big boot.  But young and inexperienced.  Been great overall but he hasn’t been in a lot of situations yet.  Defiantly hasn’t experienced a game that really depends on him to make all the kicks in a low scoring game.

But I think it will largely come down to kicking game and what D can force the most turnovers.

How is your O line looking this season? That is going to be a huge factor.

Some how its been "good" with various lineups. Tra Turner has been out the last few games, its unknown if hes able to make it back. On the 3rd LT currently, he played out-of-this world for rookie 6th for two games. Broke an panthers record with 275 rushing yards a couple games ago. OLine coach is using black magic, I believe.

Ha, I know how that is. The right tackle filling in for McGlinchey is our 5th string tackle on  the depth chart.
