Because he can be a complete dumbass at times but his scheme is good this year. Very good at times even when he does dumb poo to make it more difficult. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

That still doesn't answer how complimenting the coach of your favorite football team pains you.  Why would someone not want to have a reason to compliment their head coach?

LMAO, are you seriously clinging onto that Week 17 game last year that we had zero interest in? We had the #1 seed locked up already and had NOTHING to gain from that game. Getting out of that game without any injuries in preparation for the playoffs was the ONLY thought our mind and we accomplished that.

Enjoy your token win, I bet it looks real nice next to the other two morale wins we gave y’all in 2006 and 2009 when we sat and rested our starters then too. Hahahaha.

Well, that isn’t totally true.

Clearly being injury free and getting to the postseason wasn’t your only concern....given the fact your starters played the first half and Micheal Thomas played the ENTIRE game.

I don't care who we face but I do like the idea of Brees (shorter and likes to step up in the pocket) and doesn't really scramble. Our rush can key in on a spot and not look to contain. Gonna be a battle and it might go to the home team each game. We just need them to lose 1 game to somebody else to help even it out.

Two things which y’all haven’t been able to do consistently against us the last few years. Maybe this year though.

They’re also all better pass rushers than anyone y’all have and they each play multiple positions along the defensive line and they still couldn’t generate squat against our front.

However, I am curious to see what Burns can do against Ramczyk or Armstead.

I agree with this, that offensive line is even scarier than your defense, which in my mind is already a top 3 unit in the league.

Put a rested Brees back there with all day to throw?  Game's over before it even began.

Congrats on your success, our fanbase is envious for sure despite the remarks in this thread, I expect you guys to be SB favorites by the time the postseason arrives.

Those other teams have one star name and the others are poo.

ours has a group that have all good names—

as a group,.. they are the best front 7 in football.

football is a team sport.

Our D is almost custom made to stop a WB like Brees. Bridgewater is young and can make things happen, Brees on the other hand is a pure pocket passer, statue QB, a very VERY good one at that, but I feel this D reminds me of the Greg Hardy and Charles Johnson days when we would wreck havoc and that D always ate against the Saints.

You’re crazy.

I don't know that I've ever seen a Panthers fan so shamelessly suck up to a Saints fan.

You going to give him a reach around while you're at it?

    • Well unfortunately nothing to us. But he has been giving to the rest of the league. He's been so bad he was getting opposing defenders all kinds of accolades and salary increases. Now though he's taking back. You can't lose to a Bryce Young led offense and not expect swift ramifications ya know?
    • Full disclosure I responded to this before fully reading the whole post. As if I had, I’d have laughed at you saying you haven’t seen a full route tree from him, as that’s EXACTLY what he has in his bag.  That right there just shows you haven’t watched him at all outside of the downfield highlight reel plays.  He already runs a full NFL level route tree, at all 3 levels.  As I’ve said numerous times before, XL is the big bodied possession guy, while T-Mac would be the true outside #1 who can do it all and a perfect compliment to XL.   Want to draft someone else all you want, that’s totally fair.  But don’t try and say he’s just a big bodied WR who lacks quickness and can’t run a full route tree, as it’s just the furthest thing from the truth.     And it’s okay, after you watch some more clips, you can admit that you were wrong and I’m not showing my own bias towards him.  It’s not like I’m advocating for someone who should be a late 1st rounder or even a mid 1st round pick, this is someone who’s been mocked as high as #2 by a lot of experts lately. The kid is a stud and he has every tool in his bag that you’d want an outside #1 to have.
    • My perfect offseason at QB would be trade Bryce, sign Lock (experience with Canales) and draft Ewers in the second or late in the first
