Jeez man, I said they have the advantage. Ever try catching a pig in a pig pen? Similar circumstance, they cut and you slip and fall and when you get a hand on them, it slides right off. It's not rocket science...

If the games are almost all low scoring, how does the offense have the advantage?

Have you ever ran in the mud?  You would know.

Their run game is suited for the elements,  no?

They run a zone run scheme which is a cut and up field lot of side to side and cuts. Not suited for those elements. A downhill power run is best suited for those conditions. They were literally playing in a lake.

yes yes we know he runs a take out the defenders knees and put them out for the season system, just like his pos dad did.

That’s not what a zone run scheme is by any means ...

i know its not as bad it use to be.  playing his dads team you always knew there was a good chance you were losing someone for a year, at least one person.  but yeah, in his system, just like his dads, the d-line has to be very careful about getting there knees destroyed, and that carefulness is one of the things they count on to get an advantage.   it sure is.

A fuging RB has the advantage in these conditions,  regardless of the scheme.  I never said they'd score every time the touched the ball, they do however have the advantage. Imagine driving down the road in a driving rain and someone cuts you off, yeah that reaction time decreases dramatically,  same circumstances.

    • Well unfortunately nothing to us. But he has been giving to the rest of the league. He's been so bad he was getting opposing defenders all kinds of accolades and salary increases. Now though he's taking back. You can't lose to a Bryce Young led offense and not expect swift ramifications ya know?
    • Full disclosure I responded to this before fully reading the whole post. As if I had, I’d have laughed at you saying you haven’t seen a full route tree from him, as that’s EXACTLY what he has in his bag.  That right there just shows you haven’t watched him at all outside of the downfield highlight reel plays.  He already runs a full NFL level route tree, at all 3 levels.  As I’ve said numerous times before, XL is the big bodied possession guy, while T-Mac would be the true outside #1 who can do it all and a perfect compliment to XL.   Want to draft someone else all you want, that’s totally fair.  But don’t try and say he’s just a big bodied WR who lacks quickness and can’t run a full route tree, as it’s just the furthest thing from the truth.     And it’s okay, after you watch some more clips, you can admit that you were wrong and I’m not showing my own bias towards him.  It’s not like I’m advocating for someone who should be a late 1st rounder or even a mid 1st round pick, this is someone who’s been mocked as high as #2 by a lot of experts lately. The kid is a stud and he has every tool in his bag that you’d want an outside #1 to have.
    • My perfect offseason at QB would be trade Bryce, sign Lock (experience with Canales) and draft Ewers in the second or late in the first
