I saw enough reports citing us as in on Sanders that I believe we were. It doesn’t seem like we were really seriously bidding but I do feel like we at least called to inquire and kept tabs on him.

I never know what to believe. One big "name" reports something even if it's just a total shot in the dark based on a bunch and all of a sudden it's a viable rumor with legs.
