manny sanders is a reliable vet wr with big play potential. i don't think we have that on our roster. he's like a much, much, much better version of wright.

 

not sure if we should trade for him but i disagree that he'd be redundant.

No please don’t.  We already have 2 shorter quicker WRs that have been producing. If you are trading for a WR please go after either an experience vet or a younger guy with high potential/ceiling that just isn’t getting a chance on another roster.  Sanders is literally a VERY expensive version of all of the guys we already have.  I’d prefer a bigger possession type receiver.  
 

bleacher report mentions Panthers ideal target would be WR Keelan Cole from Jax. 
 

I would kick tires on Devante Parker WR from dolphins. Feel like he’s super talented just being held down by dolphins.  I would love Diggs, wanted him out of Maryland but just got a big contract this year I believe.

Certainly would rather have Lombardi than anything else, but having Vernon Butler on this team with Short's injury and the way he has been playing is a good thing.  

Butler has 3 sacks and 3 forced fumbles so far.  He will never live up to his draft status, but he is an important piece on this defense this year.

I get the feeling that most of the people ITT saying they wouldn't give up a 5th or 6th rounder for Sanders haven't watched him this season.  I thought, in part due to his age, that he was done coming off of that achilles' injury, but no, he still looks just as fast and explosive.

Looking at all these possible trade pieces I just don’t see anyone worth trading for atp.  Mostly older guys with big cap hits or expiring deals which makes them rentals.  Josh Norman sounds good but that ship has sailed and he isn’t the same guy anymore anyway.  Not seeing a big move here.
