Adam Schefter Just Said The Panthers May Be Looking At Trading For Emmanuel Sanders

Sanders is pretty good but no way would I give up a 3rd or 4th rounder for a 1/2 year rental. Maybe a 5th or 6th rounder.

I’d rather bring Smith back for nothing.

AJ would be amazing, but I’d never give up a 1st and probably not even a 2nd.

Maybe we are overconfident. Williams has been playing better at G. LT was just awful but I still have this nagging thought that getting to the line much faster than Cam normally did is also helping the OL. We replaced Williams with two rookies and replaced Turner with Williams. That sure doesn’t seem like the OL changes are solely related to making the OL play better. The DL not knowing the clock is running down and the OL/QB being able to adjust protection/get ready for the alignment seems to have helped a lot. If Little and Turner are back soon, I feel pretty damn good about the OL depth. If not, I feel a lot less confident. That said starting caliber OL are not usually available unless you want to give up a heck of a lot more draft

Also, Hogan got hurt in week 4. He’s missed two games not 3-4 so he’s got 6 more before he can return. He’s back week 14 when we have 4 games left.

Good info. I also agree about getting to the line quicker.

I would give up a second but I don't know if we have the space. Green is the exact type of player we would need to be dominate.

I rather offer a draft pick for Davante Parker, Miami is done and it looks like they're trying to get that 1st pick in the draft. Throw a 4th at 'em and see if it sticks. At most a 3rd. If it sticks good. He's 26, 6'3, 4.45 40, has some hands. He'd be a great addition to this team.

I doubt they would part with him for less than a first.

This

Would cost waaaay less

Plus fills a need in the WR.  We have all smaller quicker WRs, throw in a big body WR in the mix

What would be their motivation to give us one of their better players?

What would be the motivation to keep him when he just signed an extension and they are still winless? I doubt they keep the Coach by the end of the season too. If they bring a new Regime, most bring their own systems and if Parker can get them a player or draft pick I don't see why they wouldn't shop him around. It's worth a shot, you never know.

Another WR i'd Keep an eye on is Keenan Allen. Another guy that would fit this team well and the Chargers are about ready to pack it in. Another 6'2(some say 3) guy, 211, decent speed (Never ran the 40 at the combine which hurt his stock), and hands. Exactly what this team would need if they go after a WR. We have plenty of small speedy guys. Need that big body guy.

Marty would have to throw a draft pick at the Chargers too, I wouldn't be mad with a 3rd. Got Olsen for that and he was a 1st round pick. Chargers got him in the third too. Also he's a NC native. The ties are there.

Chargers packing it in this year and NEXT?

And what do you mean by “too”? They’re not just going to give Allen away when they have him under contract for another season.
