What a run it has been the last 4 weeks. Sure there is a long season ahead but I am really excited about our depth which is the primary reason we are relevant after 6 games.  In past seasons we struggled once injuries hit especially multiple injuries to one position. Daley... 6th rounder.....  In when Williams sucked and Little has twice been placed in the concussion protocol. And graded out the highest ranked tackle in week 6. Unheard of around here. Matso and Wharton are working magic given all the changes.   If Cam can get back to 100% this could be special. What a luxury to have a competent backup who can be a starter. The perfect way to ensure Cam is 100% and in football shape.

I almost started a thread like this after the game.  We've lost Cam, KShort, Donte, Trai, our top 2 LTs, and have gone on a 4 game winning streak.

Look at that list...MVP, 3 Ols,  our "best" DT...and still winning.  Give credit where credit is due.  This is a deep team.  When healthy, the Panthers can beat anybody.  And the vast majority when not healthy.

Agreed.  Just think of what this team could do without all those injuries.  But this is the NFL and every team feels that way right now.
it’s why I am always have been screaming to trade down in the draft.  Injuries are just part of the deal and you have to have really talented backups if you are going to continue to complete every year.

I have to give H2.0 his props.

Hurney 2.0 and RR 2.0 have been great. Maybe it also has to do with Tepper demanding more but supporting them to be better. JR did nothing but hold the team back by doing minimal. I think we have a team that can finally be good and compete several years in a row. The 4 game winning streak is pretty amazing with all those injuries and who would have thought OL would be hit again.

Agree that Tepper has been a breath of fresh air. Folks keep referring to Tepper guiding Rivera and Hurney as some kind of insult to their ability yet outside observation is a key to improving. Everyone needs someone to help them reach their potential. Tepper doesn't allow non-football issues derail his pursuit of getting the best team he can field like okaying bringing in Reid. The nice thing about Tepper is that he knows football and is rich rather than just having money and little else to offer but meddling like Jerry Jones.
