Are the San Francisco 49ers overrated?

My biggest worries are Breida and Kittle against or defense.  We haven't faced any of the team's with a top TE yet.  I think we can contain Coleman but Breida worries me against us if he breaks past the front.  He's one of the fastest in the league. 

Their defense is really good.  Tartt and Ward are legit this year and their DL is starting to really come together. 

Winnable but this is a big challenge for our squad.

TEs want have much of a chance to be effective because they will be blocking. Also Reid is very good at covering TEs as well as Shaq. We are a very good defense. If we can put up a quick 17 points and force them into throwing it will be a long day for them.

Shanahan is a great coach. The Falcons are so fuging stupid for keeping Quinn over him LOL

Their pass rush is stellar, the rest of the defense is good enough, they have some good RBs, Kittle's legit.

Jimmy G is massively overrated but it doesn't really matter bc Shanahan could make a drunk guy in the crowd look kinda legit

I remember us defending our schedule back in 2015 even though it was seemingly weak.  You play the teams on your schedule.  That's all there is to it. Good on them for taking advantage of it.  Good teams beat bad teams.  That's what they're doing.  That being said, I do believe we are a better team than the 49ers.

Well we have the top pass rush in the league, but i guess that dosent count....

What do you think is going to happen to Jimmy when he gets blasted a couple times for holding on to the ball when our secondary locks down their crappy receivers? 

He might not even make it to play the whole game the guy is injury prone and they have played no one yet......but if you want to crown them go ahead.....

49ers are really fuggin good. They have a scary pass rush and a decent enough secondary lead by Richard Sherman. Then on the other side Kyle has that running scheme thriving yet again. If I remember correctly, we had a very tough time defending the run against Kyle when he was on the Falcons. Their main weakness though?............................Garroppolo and their WRs. That's why it's so important to stop the run early and make Garroppolo drop back on 3rd and long. If we could manage to rattle him early, we could ride that momentum to a W. Also, I think their speedster WR Marquise Goodwin got a concussion yesterday (I think he came back?), so he could be out vs us. Also worried about Kyle Allen fumbling in this one. Their d-line is LONG, and Kyle has a tendency to break the pocket early and could get stripped from behind more than once.

Early in his career, yes. Now 4-0 post bye last 4 years.

They have the leagues top rated secondary in terms of average pass yards allowed, and they have the leagues top rated defense overall in terms of average yards allowed per game. 

They have an elite defense, excellent run game, and several different pass catching weapons like their FB and TE are great, their WRs are all good. 

I've seen Garrapolo make some extremely questionable throws in some games this year though. If we beat them it'll be because we forced Jimmy G into making several turnovers and we spread the ball around while playing error free football on offense.  

They're too good defensively to expect us to drive down the length of their field several times for TDs. We'll need an opportunistic defense putting us in excellent field position to help us out.

Their FB is out for like 6 weeks, which is HUGE for us as he was a BEAST FB. Their running game the last two games has taken a big hit without him out there lead blocking. And their WRs are not good at all. Pettis is in Kyle's doghouse and Marquis Goodwin hasn't done anything all year.

Hey guys 49er fan here for some good football talk. I see a lot of you guys talking jimmy GQ. A lot of people forget how good this guy can be. His release is one of the quickest I’ve seen he is actually excellent on 3rd downs and and the rush very high completion percentage. If you remember last year everyone was on his junk saying next Tom Brady until he got hurt. But he is good for atleast one interception a game. Receivers are not that good. Pettis has a lot of hype but nothing to show for it . Goodwin can be good. But on the flip side is how we have been winning games we haven’t needed to sling it we run it first and second down and we can almost always count on jimmy to make that 3rd down into a 1st down I personally feel he is under rated. Also is cam back this game ?

Im betting on Jimmy having happy feet for this game, I hope its before shanahan makes adjustments. 

Cam will miss this game.
