A few are, but most are rational.

I am a Wake fan, and I watched Dortch play a lot.  I see potential, but I also know that he is very small and missed some games at Wake with injury, and now he is going to be playing in a far rougher arena.

We know that Ray Ray fumbled a lot, and misjudged some punts.  There is a good chance Dortch will be better than that at least.

Based on what you saw of him, would you see any potential at receiver or are we looking strictly at a return specialist?

Having watched most of his games in college, I would absolutely say he does have receiver potential as a Jarius Wright type of player. He runs very good routes and has good hands. He is very quick and shifty with tremendous footwork at the top of his routes. He obviously won’t wow you with straight line speed but he is plenty fast. He is very good after the catch gaining extra yards with occasional big play potential.

The biggest issue he will have will be his size and durability. He is really only suited to play the slot, in the middle of the field. At 5’7” 175 he is tiny by NFL standards and playing in the middle of the field with the LBs and safeties will expose him to big hits from big men. He had some injury issues at Wake so staying healthy while being hit by even bigger and stronger guys will likely be a challenge. I’m not sure how well he can fight off a jam at the line from NFL CBs but I would imagine that will be quite the challenge as well.

He’s a solid WR3/4 if he can stay healthy.

He was one of the best receivers in Wake history.  He had great hands, and got significant yards after the catch.  I think he was a good route runner, although its hard to tell in college.

If he was 3 inches taller and 25 pounds heavier, I have no doubt he would been a first three rounds NFL draft pick.  Size and ability to stay healthy were really the only questions.

Ya, A University that is accredited and has a Law School, Medical School and Doctorate Degrees is not a real University.

The poster you are responding to steadfastly insisted UNC never did anything wrong at anytime during the fake class scandal even after he was presented with quotes from the president of the university admitting there was wrongdoing. You can and should ignore or dismiss his opinions on such matters as they are not grounded in reality.

Again, duke “fan,” The Flagship was exonerated by the NCAA. There were no “fake classes” and that has now been proven. I took a 2x4 to your delusional arguments In the other threads. I wish you the best in your continued struggle with reality.

also, duke basketball is as dirty a program out there.

more unreality from someone living in a fantasy world so fragile he's still poo posting anything I say indiscriminately because he couldn't handle having the facts laid in front of him. No one needs to trust you or I on these things, they can go and look for themselves and see who is full of it.
