I too want Kyle to start. But if you think that gives us the best chance to win, what kind of logic will there be to take the starting job from Kyle if he's now 6-0 overall, 5-0 this year, and he just beat the 2nd best defense in the league on the road?

Maybe we should see how the game plays out? If he’s just managing the game we need better qb play. If he torches the 9ers defense with his arm then we’ll have much more to talk about. I’m not one of these Cam needs to start no matter what. If Allen is the truth then you play him. But he’s just been a good game manager.

I think if Cam says he is good to go to HAVE to play him. If he plays well you keep rolling with him. If he doesnt then he is the one on a short leash.

I'll give you a good analogy. Back in 2013, we had a nice winning streak going until we had to play the #1 defense on the road. That team was San Francisco. We ended up winning 10-9 because of an awesome defensive performance. Cam went 16/32 for 0 TDs, 1 pick, and 1 fumble. If something similar happens in our next game, would you want Allen benched for Cam?

Interesting. I'll tell you that not only did no one call for Cam to be benched after that 2013 game, he was praised for having an efficient game and for beating that really nasty 49ers team on the road. 

EDIT: That was probably Cam's biggest win of his career at that point.

I am interested in seeing Allen against SF but if Cam is ready, he should go. Keep the playbook simple like it has been and get rid of the damn ball. Dont ask that oline to do more than they have the last two games, regardless if Turner and Little come back then.
