Like I said all the same source. The source said he would be ready by SF. The Panthers have said there is no update. We won't know for sure until the reports come out. If Cam is out for most of this week and Monday well we know. You can't fudge those reports ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I don't think the Panthers are pumping breaks.  Panthers are basically giving a reality check to people on social media and 24hr talk shows. 

You don't sit out weeks with an injury and just be like....oh hey, what is the gameplan for Sunday. That isn't pumping the breaks.  Team has no clue how his foot will even react from one day of light practice.   He couldn't even fly for long periods and stand for a couple hours this time last week.

Maybe. Thought neither Rodrigue or Person reported him healthy. That was the thing I questioned. Person just made a speculation/comment maybe based on Shefter.

Anyway, we will see.

You said he was basing it off of Shefter. Now you are saying he knows the same thing. If so he would report it as that's the holy grail for reporters. To break things.

I believe he heard it first from Schefter and then confirmed it with him.  Those guys talk. 

Schefter had the scoop, Person can't break that story if Schefter already has.  In addition, Person has to protect his relationship with Ron and the Panthers.  Even if Person & Schefter received that info simultaneously I bet Joe would have deferred to Schefter and let him report it.

JMO....seems logical to me.
