There isn’t really enough time to compete in practice once the season starts with how limited practice time is. You want the starter to get as many reps as necessary against the scout team in order to prepare for the next game. You kinda just have to make a decision and go with it. Splitting reps between the two is a disservice to both of them.

Great point, tough decision regardless cause I don’t think it’s fair now to go off what Kyle has showed leading up to his start, and I don’t think a decision based off the first two games help cam either
