Bucs DC said Kyle Allen presented more of a challenge than Cam

Camstans lashing out at the site administrator as the ground continues to shrink beneath their feet.

Perhaps a spinoff called NewtonHuddle would be in order.  Fans of the Carolina Panthers could post here, while Carolina Cam fans have their own spot where they will no longer be persecuted..

Man I can't wait when Cam comes out and is suddenly 2015 MVP Cam just because he didn't play for 8 weeks and healed psychological and physical issues back to 100%! Read that to yourself and tell me if that is farfetched or not.

Yeah, it's farfetched.

Not NewtonHuddle....NewtonNuthuggers, yes.  They just love the man too much they only hear or see what they want to hear or see.

I question that logic about Cam going vegan. What was he thinking, the thing that makes him good is his size and running and he tries to lose all his weight? When I saw him at camp this year all I could think is he is not playing 16 games this year... I was correct.

Being a vegan isn’t an issue and there are lot of “bigger “ vegans. Cam was more so trying to get lean and just live a healthier life. Being vegan doesn’t mean automatic weight loss tho.

Rich Eisen

Apparently this was said during interviews the week leading up to the game.

Makes sense, they are better at stopping the run than the pass and that would be a big help when defending Cam. Nobody is scared of Kyle running.

Man, this fanbase is becoming the Falcons fanbase circa 2004-2006. That fanbase had a contingent that pulled for Michael Vick above all else and constantly implied extremely negative things about anyone who spoke critically of his performance. The same is true with the Cam contingent in the current Panthers fanbase. It's tiring reading such drivel.

The fact is this: current discussions do not include 2015 MVP Cam. That Cam threw one of the best deep balls in the NFL (albeit Ted Ginn often dropped those balls). The current discussion involves a Cam Newton who has not shown the ability to unleash an accurate deep ball for two-plus seasons now. I hope Cam can finally come back in 2015 form, but I'm not counting on it. Cam's 100% percent health billing has been promised over the past few offseason, but it has not materialized.

At this point, you have to approach Cam's future with caution. If he can achieve full health, especially in his shoulder, there is no question he is the better QB. If he can't, hard questions, including what to do with a a $20+M contract next year, must be asked. Personally, I could not care less who plays QB in the future, so long as that man gives the Panthers the absolute best chance to win each and every week.

Todd Bowles didn't join the Buccaneers staff until this season.

even better Cam is undefeated against his Jets. Bowles having a super easy time game planning Cam while getting his ass kicked by Cam has a many year history.

Well if you want to look at it that way, then Newton is 0-1 vs Bowles as DC of the Bucs, whereas Kyle Allen is undefeated.

Cam is 2-1 against Bowles. so all Bowles needs to do is make sure Cam is injured and he has it made

Oh poo, better trade the former MVP for a guy averaging 225 yards a game (25th in the league) and has almost no rushing statistics.

Jeremy Igo, the cheerleader for mediocre.

5-0....

5-0....

@Jeremy Igo isn't being a fan boy. He is parroting what was said by Todd Bowles. If that upsets you, you aren't reading the comment objectively. Bowles knows what he is talking about and is confirming much of what i've been saying for the past 2 years. Consistency starts in pre-snap reads.
