Cam should start vs SF and thoughts on Kyle Allen

Most people who study film will tell you Trubisky isn’t a franchise QB and the bears use a lot of smoke and mirrors to prop him up.

I don't think we have enough data to really say anything about Allen yet, but I don't understand the Trubisky comparison. Trubisky's first five starts, he had a ~50% completion percentage, 3 TDs, 2 INTs. And outside of his first handful of games, he has never had a stretch without at least one game throwing multiple INTs.  Allen also throws more TDs than he does by %.  Trubisky has a much larger % of bad throws according to PFR (14.2% this year, vs Allen's 9.8%).  Maybe Allen ends up Trubisky, who knows.  But right now the only way in which they look similar is that neither one is having to blow away opponents with their arms.  But there is much more to a QB than that.

All that said, Trubisky is two missed field goals away from winning his playoff game.  But I would still take Cam over him... and Allen at this point.

It's freaking obvious what he's done in the Super Bowl. Way too many people are in their feelings with my statement. It all depends on your perspective if you take it as a positive or a negative.  Clearly those with their panties in a wod give me poo.
