Cam should start vs SF and thoughts on Kyle Allen

I think the panthers should start Cam vs SF to see if he still has it vs a top team, if he shows signs of an old Cam we stick with him. If he’s still struggling throwing down field then he’s time in Carolina is over. If he’s not healthy by that bye week then I don’t think he will ever be healthy.

As for Allen I don’t think he a franchise QB and I think it will be incredibly hard to reach much less win a SB with his limited talent. He reminds me of Trubisky last season when the bears went 12-4 or Keenum in 2017 when the Vikings went 13-3, fans will buy into them cause they are winning and not getting in the way of the team. But when push comes to shove and they are asked to carry the team that’s where they fail.

Where it comes to Cam. He cannot see the field util he can participate fully in a full weeks worth of practice. Whenever that is.

For the first time in his career, he has an opportunity to actually rest until he is healthy. Cannot underscore how important that is. Unless Kyle falls apart. We can wait on Cam.

Not sure what you need to see out of Kyle before you can consider him a Franchise QB. But as of right now, the kid has dones everything they have asked of him. He is averaging almost 2 passing TDs a game, hasn't thrown a int yet, and did not have a TO last game.

All while have a Rating of over 100. What more do you want?

There is absolutely no reason to plan on Cams' demise. But hey, have at it.

I dont see the Keenum comparisons. But if Kyle Allen reminds you of a number 1 pick that completed 66.6 percent of his passes. Averaged 260 yds a game and threw 24 tds to 12 picks good for KA

Cause that's what Trubisky did last year. He was a decent kicker away from playing in the NFCCG. Hes also playing well this year.

The same Trubisky who only led his team once to endzone  (kicker made 3 fg) and scored a measly 15 points at home

Most people who study film will tell you Trubisky isn’t a franchise QB and the bears use a lot of smoke and mirrors to prop him up.

I disagree I say start Allen first!! I watched SF game they are damn good!! If Allen doesn’t adjust then throw Cam in.. but  I also feel Allen should play the whole game just to learn.. SF ain’t know joke!! Or poo split the QBs up .. let’s do so crazy poo too win!!

First, I have to ask. Who are these film guru's you talk to? Maybe you could share some of their insights.

So, what you are saying is that the Panthers are using smoke and mirrors to make Kyle look better than he actually is? That is a good one, even for you.

Oh Goob, you are at least consistent. You have never met a half azzed crazy thought that didn't tickle your fancy.

The bears use more then we do cause Nagy is more innovative and comes from the Reid system.

But as for us we are basically running an elementary offense, and it’s working due the talent we have, the teams we have face and our defense. Allen isn’t being asked to make difficult throws the same way Cam has been asked in the past, even on third downs the coaches are content with a punt as long he doesn’t risk throwing a pick.
