We are really gonna give Allen all the credit for this win vs a terrible defense when our own D forced 6 turnovers

That completely defeats the point though. If that is what was going on, then why are we not 6-0? Surely if Allen sucks so bad and needs to be carried, Cam Newton should've won even hurt. Cam had the same players.

I really like how the offense is running right now.  Very efficient.  He had some really nice throws today.  Nice touch and timing.  
 

Im intrigued to see what he can do against SF defense who looks to be pretty good.  To me that will be the defining moment of where we go in the future.  If we can go in there and beat an undefeated team it could be Kyles team.  A loss could have us washing Cam a speedy recovery.

Facts whether anyone wants to admit it or not. Our defense and CMC are why we are where we are. And the fact that Norv knows how to call an offense with Kyle playing QB better than he does with Cam. Not taken anything away from Kyle but our defense got us 7 turnovers and had us in great scoring position the whole game. Every other game of the win streak it has been unbelievable performances by CMC that helped us barely squeak out wins. Allen has yet to blow me away with a performance. Not about him can single handedly take over and dominate a game the way a healthy Cam Newton can. Either way it's a win win situation for us so there is nothing for us as fans to complain about

then why couldnt cam win his games then??  he had the same situation when he was starting

I'm still hesitant to use the QC term, but it's valid to say that we're at least looking in that direction.

If Allen plays well against the 49ers, we'll be pretty close.

If he plays well against the 49ers and we win, then yeah we're probably there.
