I'm curious to see how well Allen does with some adversity.  Like making the big boy throws as he comes from behind.

I'm thrilled that he's playing well, and we're winning.  I still think we haven't seen the last of Cam Newton.  We have a heck of a cushion, and it's a good problem right now.

I'd personally roll with Allen until he loses. Its stupid to mess with momentum in the NFL .

Joe Montana was one of the best QBs to ever suit up and won super bowls and that still didnt prevent his backup from eventually taking his job... no QB should be immune to someone plainly out performing them.

We haven’t seen the last of Cam Newton. The question is, have we seen the last of him on the Panthers? You can’t bench Allen at 4-0 on the season regardless of what anyone says about the defense or McCaffrey playing out of his mind.

Only way I think we see Cam again is if Allen struggles against better competition, and Cam is healthy. If Allen keeps winning, how can you bench him?

Who on earth is going to "war" over being 5-0 after witnessing the debacle that was 2010?

Allen has earned his spot.

All this being said, those who continue to drag the anti-Cam language in here need to poo or get off the pot once and for all. Allen is where he is, and Cam is where he is. There is no need to continue entertaining idiocy. Conversely there is no need to continue to allow it to be littered around here. This place needs a cleanup.

The new moving goalposts is "yes but he hasnt beaten any good teams when running game and defense play bad".  Cause that's totally a fair standard that we've had any other QB live up to any time recently?

People keep hoping for us to fall behind in games. My question is: why? To see "something"??? No. No. No.

I'll say what I said in game day thread. I'm one of the biggest Cam fans, but at this point, you gotta keep rolling with Allen until he loses a couple. Don't mess with what's working. We are on a roll and have won 5 straight games with Kyle Allen. I say give him one more game against 49ers, and if he bombs, put Cam in the following week, if he wins AGAIN, then roll with him rest of season tbh

I think he should finish the season regardless of any losses.   You can't say "if he loses 1 game then bench him".  That is just dumb.   The guy is going to be a starter somewhere in the NFL next year.  I think he has pretty much proven himself as an above average passer/game manager and that seems to be very difficult to come by in the today's NFL.

If Allen struggles and Cam is really 100%, then we see Cam again.  Cam has to be ready to be Cam before he gets back out there.

Allen is a great story, and he's really done an amazing job.  I'm just not ready to put him in Canton yet.  I want to see how he does when the chips are down and he has to put the team on his back.
