Slye is not the future

Matt Bryant missed an XP to tie the game. Cowboys kicker missed an EASY FG today after making a 62 yarder. Texans didn't even trust their kicker enough to attempt a 45 yarder to seal the game and instead went for a 4th and 3 (lol what?).  And least we aren't in these situations. I still trust Slye. He missed one legit kick today and nailed his other kicks and XPs down the middle. He still has a booming leg and decent accuracy that can be corrected, and still is being paid peanuts.

Gano is better

Not with a bum knee. And not for top money.

Where do these Gano fanclub weirdos come from? This franchise still hasn't notched back to back winning seasons yet and we're facing a desperate search for a franchise quarterback yet we've got guys stumbling in here desperate to fall on their sword for Graham Gano just because. LOL.

Get outta here with this Jerry Richardson poo.

It’s blind ignorance to think Slye is better than a healthy gano

Careful, you’ve just awoken TheRed, who will vigorously argue any positive comments about Gano while ignoring the fact that Slye is playing worse than Gano ever has for us.

Week to week you either hide under a rock or start gloating depending on how Slye plays. He's a rookie making peanuts and that's the player we're getting so far. There's nothing that says you can't create more competition at kicker in the offseason without forcing yourself to break the bank gambling on an expensive contract with an aging kicker trying to come back from a knee injury. poo or get off the pot once and for all bud because whatever the future holds for Slye, Gano is on the outside looking in and that's just the nature of the business of football.

But will Gano ever be healthy enough to be effective? Like Cam’s health, that is a serious concern with him... Also, what Slye is making combined with his performance > Gano.
