We "can".  He's on the Jacksonville practice squad, so we'd have to sign him to the 53.

I don't have any connection to McLeod, but cutting a guy without a replacement is just stupid. Hurney has done well thus far, so hopefully he's got something up his sleeve. I feel like this is probably a case of McLeod being scape goated. He's performed well for us in every game except for the two Bucs games.

They have a bye week to try guys out, both on the team and off the street. It's not a bad time to make this move.
