Highly drafted rookies hardly ever wait one season to start anymore, much less three.

Not a fan of that myself, but it probably won't be changing anytime soon.

Right.

it just makes you wonder how many quarterbacks that have been “busts” in recent years have been ruined by this line of thinking.

Valid question...

I think David Carr probably was, although in his case sh-tty coaching had a lot to do with it.

i don't discount the wins. i properly credit those responsible for the win. you see that as "discounting" the win because you think the credit should go to allen.

But you insinuated that CMC was why we lost games :Eyes_Emoji_42x42:

I am a huge Allen supporter and think he is managing the games well.  I would like to also point out that Matt Moore was 3-1 in his first four starts (should have been 4-0 but got screwed by the Dallas game, if I remember correctly) for us and he was a career backup.

Here's a question.  If Allen plays well while Cam is out.  Would you consider trading Grier?

The team won those games. He’s been decent, but let’s stop it like the defense and CMC hasn’t carried him. He almost gave the game away last game.

I don't know if you notice it, but the team plays hard for him. It's really refreshing to see.

Exhibit A for the case that many have underlying reasons for wanting a change at QB. This is the dumbest take yet. And just has an agenda all over it. I’ve stayed out of all this but claiming the team plays harder for one QB and not the other is a crock.

   You should be embarrassed.

They don’t care. There’s about 8-10 posters on here who have gone to the greatest mental gymnastics I’ve seen in almost a decade on this board to prove that Allen should be our starting QB no matter what.
