this is crap. he initiated his block when the defender was visible coming through the hole. after he started going down to make the block, the lineman reached over and shoved the defender in the shoulder just before Dewill make contact. its not like the lineman was fully engaged and dewill just cut him down.

That call was BS.

Wasn't there another BS call towards the end of the game? I, at that point had 1 or 10 too many beers and all I remember about it is giving the ref the bird, yes he saw it, can't remember the ill call though.

Yeah that other BS call was roughing the QB against the Panthers. It's stupid.

well as you all know there's such a heated debate right now about concussions in the NFL and having long term effects on players.

All these fines are simply a way of protecting the players to the best of Roger Goodell's ability. He's facing a lot of scrutiny and that's the reason why we've been seeing more fines than we ever have.
