Man coverage has its own pitfalls against a mobile quarterback too.

When you're playing man, you're a lot more likely to have several guys with their backs for the quarterback. So if he does take off, there's a pretty good chance your coverage guys are gonna be a second or so late realizing what's happening.

I think that's what I said, when your force your opponent to use a defender to account for the QB, you have a huge advantage.

Listen. I am tickled pink with what Kyle has accomplished. But he is running a slimmed down model. Let's not get ahead of ourselves with the kid.

But Cam revolutionized the QB position. Until I get the obituary, I am going to go with the borderline HOF QB.

Now if that QB cannot complete the passes. There is no need for a spy. Because you disregard the pass, and sell out for the run.

I dare you to disregard the pass on a healthy Cam Newton.

Um, because 2015 Cam made them pay for it. Now he can't hit the broadside of a barn or run, you really think after a year that changes?

It is just as reasonable for me to believe that Cam can come back. As it is for you to believe he can't. What makes your slant so much more feasible than mine?

You do know that players come back from injury all the time.

Dude I'm a Panthers fan, not a fan of one specific player... been a fan since the first season. Been on the huddle for 10 years,  although I read it everyday, I don't post much. However, I call bullsh1t on this subject... We're not only winning without Cam, many of the problems posters blamed on others have miraculously disappeared.  Got an answer for that?

You already have your mind made up. Nothing I say will sway you in any way.

You are happy Cam is not playing. I am excited to get him back.

I hope he does, but he's never gonna be that guy again
