Do you want Cam to start @49ers Oct 27th.

I think we have a very small chance at winning against the 49Ers with Allen. CMC would need to have another performance similar to this past game with 3+ scores. I think Cam increases our odds of winning IF AND ONLY IF he is actually healthy and can sprint. If he is healthy he needs to play. If he isn't healthy he needs to sit again. Its that simple.

Nope, I want KA to be winning. I want Cam to eat some @#%$ meat or gargle calcium-infused mouthwash or something and do his PT and build that fire for getting back in there. If KA hits a rough spot or gets injured, then Superman can swoop in and do what he does. See. I can dream too. No?

Pretend for a moment that Cam is cleared medically to play at San Fran. Do you play him?

Facing a great defense, away on the west coast, after a bye (Ron sucks after byes).

Or would you rather wait a week.

I’ll be at that game. Whoever gives us the best chance to win is who i want starting.

If he's truly 100% what's the rationale for holding him out?

Afraid he will get hurt again?

If so, what other games on the schedule this year are deemed too risky for him to play in?

Cam gets to play the easy games and sacrifice the backup in the tough ones?

Pretty amazing concept there.

What a dweeb. Spun that OP around real good.

I don't give a good GD who the opponent is.

That said, it depends on Kyle more than Cam at this point.  If he is still undefeated, it's going to be really tough to pull him off the field, and that's from someone who hates crediting QB's with wins and losses.

If Cam goes in, stinks up the joint, and we have to bench him, or worse suffer a terrible loss, the pitchforks will come out.  Not that it's a smart thing to do, but the majority of NFL fanbases are pretty damn dumb when it comes to the ins and outs of the game.

The first question, is Cam actually, really healthy.  I don't trust Ron and staff on getting an accurate answer to that question any longer, but if he's healthy, fully healthy, you have to send him out there to see if he can still play the game at a high level, and see if he can stay healthy.

Here's my problem. I dont trust Ron to not play Cam until hes healed and I dont trust Cam to be honest about his injury. But since we're pretending, if Cam is 100% and has worked through the timing/rust issues going into the game, then he plays.

Here's the bigger question though. If he starts and looks bad, how long do you wait to pull him or do you? Do you just accept a loss to let Cam work through it, or do you put KA in and try for the win if it's still close?

This is exactly why we have to let Allen write his own fate. Otherwise it'll be like the "start DA" cries except 100x worse the minute Cam throws an incomplete pass. It took DA throwing a pick 6 on the opening play of a game for a significant portion of this fanbase to realize Cam is who we want out there come hell or high water. We gotta let Kyle start until he fizzles out and practically benches himself with a bad performance.

Unless you have a QB who has won a Lombardi, you are going to have some fans call for the backup to be in there.

It's stupid, but it happens in every fanbase with few exceptions.  It's not smart, but it's best to just ignore them and go about your life.
