2020 NFL Draft

I wouldn't care if they used every 2020 pick on O line. Tackles, guards, center. We need all of it.

I just don't think this is realistic. IMO, there is 1 really good LT, so let's assume that we could get Andrew Thomas which we won't have a chance to do. Is the franchise going to admit after 1 year that Little and Daley are worth giving up on? It just seems unlikely to me. We don't need RT. We can't cut Paradis because of dead money. We won't cut Turner. Would love an upgrade at LG but there isn't a great guard prospect. But you want to draft one in every round in an overall weak OL draft? Yeah ok.

What would you say our needs are then?

I like Ceedee Lamb as well but more important than OL?

Exactly what position at OL are you talking about? Moton has solidified the RT spot. Paradis will be here a while. We all know who Trai is. And we have two rookies that have shown capabilities to play LT. You’re not going to take a LG in the 1st unless it’s a Zach Martin or Nelson type of player.

I’d love for the stars to align for an elite FS prospect in the first round, like they did this year for pass rusher with Burns falling to us. That is the cherry on top this defense could use and would be the first time in a long ass time that we’ve had a great safety. Haven’t followed the expected prospects coming in though. Anyone know how the safety class looks right now?

I would love a DL but this is a bad DL draft. Unless we need to go QB this draft doesn’t really align with our top needs at all.

If Brown from Auburn falls due to the strength of other positions though.

Grant Delpit from LSU is absolutely awesome but it would be shocking if he was there when we pick and even more shocking if Hurney actually picked a safety in the 1st.

Yeah always possible someone falls but it would be quite surprising for Brown to fall to the mid 1st where I expect us to be picking at the earliest without some kind of issue coming up(medical or character or whatever) given how weak the draft is at the position and how desired top DL talents are.

There is a guy from FSU, Wilson I think, that is pretty good as well that might be in our range.

Depending on how Cam looks if he comes back and if not how Kyle plays I’ll still be looking hard at QBs. Wouldn’t definitely take one early but if there’s someone there with the potential of a Watson or Mahomes that we like (neither were top 9 picks) then I’d be all for that and even would trade up for one if we think he could be like a Mahomes.

Presumably that's what Norv and MH were thinking with Grier. You want them to have another go? Who do we get rid of? Our 2019 3rd rounder, our 2015 MVP, or the guy who's won his first 4 starts?

Exactly. Derrick Brown is as good as anyone from last year's strong DL class, but this year there is a drop off after him. I could see IDL but if Brown is gone I feel like there are much deeper positions to select from.

Iove Wilson but he may be around in the 2nd for us.

I do my weekly Mock with draftnetworks stuff.  And grabbed him in the 2nd.

They had him as the 4th DL which is about where the consensus has him.  Kid from Bama (Raekwon), and kid at South Carolina ahead of him

I could see him falling thanks to other teams needs and some being rated better overall. Definitely no one available in the second round worth taking at the position.

Can Akers that late would be a steal.

He would be.  This RB class is is looking to form into a nice ones with guys like Perine at Florida shooting up

Marvin Wilson, Raekwon Davis, and the South Carolina kid would be fine there from the way it looks right now
