Until Cam comes back healthy, we are a Kyle Allen led team. No ifs, ands, or buts. We ride with Kyle.

No one expects that ride to last forever. Well, very few anyway.

Well once upon a time I was called a blind homer on this board.

Guess now I'm no longer a real fan for raising some concerns.

Haven't most wins over the past 9 seasons been ugly?

I would say the past few seasons. Before that we were straight up blowing out teams more frequently. Look at how bad we've been against the 1-4 Falcons the last couple of years.

I get what you're saying with Cam, and we agree on more than we disagree, but I think the most we can hope for is somehow lucking our way into the playoffs if he can't return to form this season. We're going to need a few more pieces from next years draft to make any kind of run if we are expecting to do anything in the playoffs without the presence of #1, even moreso if he is actually "done" as some are predicting.

No matter how healthy cam is, you can't bench Kyle Allen if he's still undefeated.

I'm sorry, you just can't.

That's the Golden rule of the NFL, and if Ron rivera isn't as dumb as I think he is, we should continue to see Allen out there until he loses, no matter how good or bad his personal statistics are.

People that think Kyle Allen is a better option for us than a 100% healthy Cam Newton are just a joke. There's nothing else you can say. That isn't a golden rule of anything. If your MVP quarterback is healthy you play him over a guy that has fumbled 8 times in 3 games.

Kyle Allen's pocket presence has been terrible. Could do a thread on that but I know this board is too blinded to acknowledge those deficiencies.

Greg Olsen has been noted to have been upset over Kyle Allen's decision making at times. Plenty of times in fact.

He has been underthrowing receivers the past two games as well. He's been carried moreso than helped the team actively win.

Yeah, so is a lot of other QBs.  You can go through plenty of clips outside of 2015 and nitpick finding stuff like this with Cam too.

Allen has hit open WRs, he hasnt locked on WRs.   Yes his pocket presence hasnt been great but over half the QBs in the league have bad pocket presence.

Again he's doing no wrong.  He's hitting yhe right passes etc.  And doing enough not to lose.  Which is what you want in a backup.

Like the Casey Keenum 2 seasons ago in Minnesota, almost the same player.

You keep that ball going until Cam is 100%

So we should just put CMC at QB? Oh wait they tried that.  Saying Kyle Allen had no part of that win Sunday is ridiculous.  And he definitely put us in position to win against Houston

The guy can copy and paste other people to try and sound intelligent about football but when he speaks from his own mind, he just exposes himself. Now on top of that, getting emotionally bent out of shape.

To be honest, you are not raising concerns. You are pooing on a Backup  QB. One that has won us some games. Very few thought we would be 4-2, so enjoy the wins.

Not many people are saying they want Kyle to replace Cam. And the ones who do say that are not worth listening to. You are fretting over nothing. And doing a fine job of it by the way.

Very well Cam Newton could come back and stink it up. He's probably coming back to face the best DL in the NFL anyhow in the 49ers.

Just means we need a whole new QB. Kyle Allen is still not the answer even if so.

Kid is 23, has played 4 NFL games, is 4-0, and you are ready to end his career.

Kinda premature, no?

I mean if it's collectively understood what Kyle Allen's role is (a former UDFA backup turned starter) then yes he is doing well for what he is.

I'm just raising concerns over those who think Kyle Allen is more than that, because at the moment I wouldn't call him a future heir the starting position no matter Cam's condition.

The two biggest outright lies/strawmen that the diehards seem to be willing to fight to the last man for are without a doubt "i can't believe there are posters who want Allen over healthy/MVP Cam!" and of course the all timer "there are lots of posters here who are rooting for Cam to fail!"

Absolutely ignorant and shameless.

The ONLY way Kyle winds up our permanent starter. If Cam falls off a cliff.

When Cam comes back, he is the man. Point blank. Very few will dispute that. And we all know who those folks are anyway.
