The ONLY way Kyle winds up our permanent starter. If Cam falls off a cliff.

When Cam comes back, he is the man. Point blank. Very few will dispute that. And we all know who those folks are anyway.

Very fair. Probably misunderstanding some of the comments on here and taking them to the extremes.

If Cam isn't healthy, then yes ride with Kyle. He'd be the better option. But don't act like Kyle doesn't have his faults, critical considering his pocket movement and decision making have been very faulty alongside underthrowing deep passes.

He has his strengths too that I like and have seen a lot of flashes of particularly with ball placement and intermediate accuracy at times.

I just want us to continue winning going forward.

Kyle Allen's pocket presence has been terrible. Could do a thread on that but I know this board is too blinded to acknowledge those deficiencies.

Greg Olsen has been noted to have been upset over Kyle Allen's decision making at times. Plenty of times in fact.

He has been underthrowing receivers the past two games as well. He's been carried moreso than helped the team actively win.

After one poor pass % rate, yes a decline in passing yards, no INTs (close counts in horseshoes and hand grenandes), yes he has fumblitis but he has worked with a different Oline combo each of his 1st three starts this season. I say he has been pretty decent. If the Oline was jelled, his numbers prob be way higher. He just doesn't make magic in runs like Cam and I am okay with that, especially when KA delivering better timed catchable balls for more times than not.

Kid is 23, has played 4 NFL games, is 4-0, and you are ready to end his career.

Kinda premature, no?

They'd have benched Delhomme in 2003, too. Some people can only read a pedigree.

If Cam is healed, we roll with him until proven otherwise. A kid with four or five wins in four or five games sitting on the bench won't stay there for long if Cam stumbles or isn't quite Superman. One, we hope gets back to what he used to be, the other we hope he keeps being who he seems to be.

i want kyle in until the line gets straightened out and cam's healthy.  i don't even care if kyle starts crapping the bed.  cam will not get rid of the ball as fast as kyle.  that's not how he plays.   he will stand tall in the pocket and wait until the last second if he thinks a 2nd or 3rd option is gonna pop, and he'll take big hits.   with the way the line is pass blocking that's around 2 seconds, maybe 2.5.     i don't even know if they'll max protect for cam, or give tackle help like they do for kyle.  its ridiculous, and to me it won't be fair.   it needs to get shored up.  just my opinion

The two biggest outright lies/strawmen that the diehards seem to be willing to fight to the last man for are without a doubt "i can't believe there are posters who want Allen over healthy/MVP Cam!" and of course the all timer "there are lots of posters here who are rooting for Cam to fail!"

Absolutely ignorant and shameless.

Anyone who thinks Allen is better than a healthy cam is an idiot anyways. And there aren't a lot of posters rooting for him to fail. Just you, cat tower, big cat, and a few others.

We all know why you don't like cam though

You’re a clown and not really worth the time it takes to read anything you post.

Anyone who changes their name to create a new identity on an internet message board can’t and shouldn’t be taken seriously.

So I'm a Cam stan and want more than anything for him to be back in prime form, but tbh at this point I'm doubting how much we can blame his health for his performances lately.

His running game? Sure. I think that's a combination of health and lack of confidence in his line. But the high throws plagued him even when he was healthy and that concerns me. My big fear is that after all the injuries and rehab and personnel issues he's stuck in his ways now and this is Cam from here on out.  I really hope I'm wrong and that it's just rust and health holding him back.

to be fair cam newton has gotten rid of the ball the fastest he's ever had weeks 1 and 2

but agreed. ride Kyle until Cam is truly healthy. don't rush him in.

The posting on this forum does get confusing at times, from what I see.....it appears many seem to forget that this is a TEAM effort.  Kyle, Cam, Harry or Clifford....doesn't matter.....still an important piece of the puzzle to win games and right now Kyle is a part of that and it is good feeling.  Yes a bad QB can stink up the drives and go no where(Redskins), right now Kyle is doing enough to keep us ahead as well as CMC, Oline, Dline, defense and etc... to keep us ahead.  Keep Pounding!

Very Trumpian response, not a surprise.

The funniest part is that in a year or so, all you Camstans will be claiming that you all acknowledged it was time to move on just as early as the rest of us.
