I don’t get the baker hate. He’s super confident. When people take shots at him he gives it right back. He’s a smaller guy but has a cannon for an arm.

hes a douche. i liked him at OU but this offseason he went on every podcast, station, magazine and wanted all the smoke and was as outspoken and critical of others as he could be. as bad as hes been this year he deserves all the heat hes getting

Only thing I remember is the Daniel Jones thing but it was taken completely out of context about the draft being a total tossup. Then Rex Ryan called him a one read qb and baker hit him back with a burn.

it felt similar to Cam with how he was being treated in the media but Cam stayed quiet while Baker hit back. Maybe I’ve missed some other stuff but I’ve always liked Baker.

Usually I would appreciate a forgotten team becoming strong or at least relevant. Not this time. I hope they lose every game from here on. I don't hate him but they got anointed after doing nothing.

If you get annointed by other people, how exactly is that your fault? What was Mayfield et all supposed to do? Go on national tv and say "Guys, I know you think we're gonna be great, but we're probably gonna still suck for a while, tamp it down."? We do this weird thing in sports sometimes where we hold players, coaches, etc accountable for things other people said about them.

Yeah. It’s where a lot of Andrew Luck hate comes from. People were jealous that Cam wasn’t getting that love from the media so they HATED Andrew. Luck is a genuinely good dorky person. Hate the media not the player.

Where did I fault anyone?  I don't dislike division rivals because of specific fault. I dislike them because it's what happens in sports.

Cleveland had every reason to be hopeful.  They seemed to be turning a corner last year.  Chubb emerging as a 3 down back and added OBJ to the other side of Landry along with a respectable defense.  I still wouldn't count them out, the AFC North is really down with Cincy and Pittsburgh basically being trash and Cleveland having already beat Baltimore, the only other real contender in the division.

As far as Baker, dude has a chip, needs the chip IMO.  I think some of it is forced, an effort to generate a brand.  I also think Cleveland is trying to establish some kind of identity and culture.  Not sure what this deal was not shaking hands, perhaps he's trying to cultivate some edge or attitude going into the game.  He's a young guy that got too much credit and too much expectation too soon.

It’s funny because Cam is more confident that him and has a personality that can be seen as just as annoying but people here can’t possibly understand why other fan bases/people don’t like him other than race but then hate on Mayfield For the same reasons lol

I specifically stated it's not hate. I just want them to lose.
