I present you with a highlight real that showcases what Smitty was in his prime..  when TV was a square, and not a rectangle..  When making ESPN's Monday Night halftime highlights was making it big! I have been searching and searching for Vintage Smitty highlights, and this Vid delivers, and what better time to share than after he was inducted into the Hall of Honor!!

*Fun fact no one cares about: ..  I first witnessed smitty halfway into his prime.  I can declare my first conscious season as a  Panthers fan watching all 16 games via new and innovative Sunday Ticket in 2007.  The 2007 losing season was my first season where im like .. "ok im a Panthers fan, im watching these games"..  in 2003 i was in 3rd grade and i remember rooting for the Panthers in the SuperBowl...  in 2007 Thats the year i was like "this is my team, my dad has sunday ticket *at the time was the utmost technology.. watch your team week in and week out?? yes please!!*  Im gunna watch my team!!"

 

well, my dad said if you get straight As, ill take you to a Panthers game..    well, I got straight As my 8th grade year, the following fall as a pimple freshman i picked the Monday Night Panthers vs Bucs in 2008 and holy fugIN ASHIT WHAT A NIGHT..

edit: I forgot to add...   when i first consciously paid attention to the NFL and made the Panthers my team, Smitty was in his prime and filled my eyes with wonder..  I have so much love fore smitty...  everyone has that childlike nostalgia and Smitty was mine...
