We do not win a playoff game without Cam at QB

I am extremely happy that we have won 3 straight games and could not be happier that we have discovered that Allen can be a capable backup for us (no one thought we had anything behind Cam at the beginning of the year). With that being said, we NEED Cam to get healthy to lead this team. Allen is a good game manager who can lead us to victory with a good defense and running game, but no way we win in the playoffs with CMC as our only threat. Our defense can keep us in games, and we need the spark that Cam brings to the offense when he can create plays with his arm and feet. This team with a healthy Cam can compete with anyone in the league. This team with Allen (THIS SEASON) is nothing more than a one and done team. I’m ready to see some fans in the front row get footballs from Cam again.

If you're trying to say that this team is better with 100% vintage Cam, I think there are better ways of doing it than throwing shade at every other Panther by say that they have a 0.0% chance of winning a game without him.

Not vintage Cam, I just believe that with the foot healed, he will be an upgrade over Allen right now. I’m not intending to throw shade at Allen, we are extremely fortunate to have him. I just believe that Cam gives us the best chance to compete for a Super Bowl this year. With the shoulder surgery he may never reach 2015 level, but we don’t need him to, as we have another mvp player in CMC, and much better receivers than 2015.

Cam has not been healthy in over 3 years...  I’d keep ya hopes down a bit until he can prove he can stay healthy.

Why does it bother you that folks have faith Cam can come back healthy?

By all accounts his shoulder was doing great. So if his ankle heals, why should we not expect him to get healthy?

I have no problem with folks hoping Cam doesn't heal. Have at it. Just seems counterintuitive to the Panthers as a team.

I’m just questioning, when in your opinion did you see a healthy Cams shoulder? During game two was it a foot problem just asking because it looked like last year vs the Bucs all over again.

Who do you think was throwing all those bombs to Samuel that folks were all agog over? He was throwing well in OTAs, and Training Camp. He started the year with velocity, he was just have trouble being consistent. Because of that bad ankle.

When a body takes a beating like that over almost a decade... it starts breaking down.  Cam is not immortal.  He’s a human.

if only the coaches could ever figure this out.  human qb's need to be protected by a good line. a not so good line needs help protecting human qb's.  cam, not so much.  norv: you know what, we'll be able to get more people out in their routes with cam as qb if we don't give williams help.  rivera: 'that's genius norv'

I really don’t see this as an insult to Allen. One and done in the playoffs isn’t bad for what essentially is a rookie QB. The OP is saying if we want to beat one of the top teams in the playoffs we need our veteran QB healthy and he is not wrong...

Sorry but he might be wrong. Cam has 9 straight losses. Saying that we have precisely zero chance without Cam is dumb. I can accept that our chances are higher with an experienced, healthy, proven QB but to say we flat out can't win is to give Cam entirely too much credit.

Um...okay. So you are saying what? Cam ain't coming back? Cam will never be the same? What?

You can fret all you want. Me? I see no reason Cam cannot get healthy again. He has rarely missed games. This setback is not career threatening. But hey, everyone is free to think what they want. Right?

Seems like common sense is no longer common.
