This is about as unhappy as I've ever been about a win

True smash-mouth teams, which is historically our moniker, don't get cute at the goal line. If we're not going to give the ball to the FB to get a yard, then something is amiss. Give the ball to Dontari Poe or something if you want to be creative.

props to Poe for not only putting pressure on Minshew on one of those last plays, but being agile enough not to give him a chance to leak to the sideline. No mean feat for a DT considering how well Minshew ran around all day.

Definitely a lot this team needs to clean up, Minshew made our very good secondary look terrible. Had them pinned down and let Leonard bust off a long one.

And Allen may or may not be a legit starting qb. Had a tough game against the Texans and didn’t look great today. Without CMC busting loose we probably lose. He’s a good game manager right now, not sure he’s the answer if Cam is done

The continued fumbling is very much a huge concern, but equally concerning is that as team's get more film and time to look at him, he's becoming less effective. The stat that stuck in mind from today is that Allen started 5-5 and then later in the game was 5 for 13 after that. Allen needs to have a good game against Tampa for me to keep an open mind that he's long term potentially more than a decent game manager.

Go eat a Quarterpounder with Cheese, no onion, Super Sized with good old fashioned Coke.

have a Coke and a smile basically.

we won... which means we did more good than bad, and it’s just the NFL.

jax was pretty good— they are supposed to be good. They just made more mistakes than we did.

jimmy Johnson used to say it’s the 5-6 plays each per game that either win or lose because they are big or big failures.

we just make more of them and less mistakes.

McDonald's sucks. But I am thinking about bribing my currently vegan son with an Impossible Whopper if he'll go out and get me that Bacon King. Damned thing is good!

That's very fair as far as I'm concerned.

Oh im down with that too! Near me the McDonalds are actually nice, clean etc. BK is far, and it’s a nasty one.

i Tried the Vegan thing. I gained 10 pounds, got more fat and super sleepy all the time.

i feel much better now that I’m back to ribs, steak and Quarter Pounders.

oh, and I lost 8 of the 10 pounds and I definitely don’t work out.

its not for everyone.

You were more happy after the Giants game last year?

Personally, I think nit-pickers suck.

Yeah, every win has its moments when plays could have been executed better.  Or calls could come into question (by the simple standard that they didn't work).

But those are duties of the coaching staff (of ANY team) -- tighten things for for future games.

Our duty (AS FANS OF THE PANTHERS) is to celebrate this win!  Leave the nit-picking to the experts, the coaches and the players themselves. :):Eggplant_Emoji_Icon_42x42::Taco_Emoji_42x42:

After we'd lost the first 2 games ... who can tell me he or she wouldn't have been elated with a 3-2 record?  So quit yer bitchin' and raise your glass!

The short yardage play calling just fuging sucks, especially near the goal line. It's like we're afraid to punch the ball in, or maybe Norv just doesn't have faith in the O-line. We play a tad too conservatively with a relatively small lead & are obviously afraid for Allen to throw the ball, and with Allen putting the ball on the field & doing his hurt-Cam impression with the over and under-throws, Norv (Ron) might have a point.

As much as we were exploiting CMC (to the sidelines in crunch time), it seems like we would have used the run to set up some passes down the field, but those plays just didn't really materialize. Moreover, I would have liked to see more quick slants.

After the first series, I was like Norv is finally opening up the offense, and then we commenced to running CMC into the ground, and I can tell you from watching football for 40+ years, that it's not sustainable. It's a telltale sign that he cramped up & Bonnafon actually came in with fresh legs and made JAX pay.

The pass defense was very shaky, but I guess I'll give them a little bit of a pass. Chark is the real deal, and so is Minshew! He really outplayed Allen on everything except the scoreboard.

We've got to do better, especially with the offensive play calling.

This is a game that I feel lucky to have won, and in my opinion it shouldn't have been this way.

Oh, yeah, just when I praised Slye...Tighten up!

I have to assume you haven't been a Panthers fan very long.
