This is about as unhappy as I've ever been about a win

You were more happy after the Giants game last year?

Honestly, I didn't think that we were good enough to make a run last year (even with the streak). This season, I think we ARE good enough, but I don't think we've played our best ball, and in some ways play not to lose. I hate playing not to lose 95+ percent of the time.

And some people can say what they want, I'm looking at things from a postseason perspective. You have to play solid ball when you're going against the top tier teams, and we didn't do that today. It was a shaky win for a team that can absolutely play better!

True smash-mouth teams, which is historically our moniker, don't get cute at the goal line. If we're not going to give the ball to the FB to get a yard, then something is amiss. Give the ball to Dontari Poe or something if you want to be creative.

Go eat a Quarterpounder with Cheese, no onion, Super Sized with good old fashioned Coke.

have a Coke and a smile basically.

we won... which means we did more good than bad, and it’s just the NFL.

jax was pretty good— they are supposed to be good. They just made more mistakes than we did.

jimmy Johnson used to say it’s the 5-6 plays each per game that either win or lose because they are big or big failures.

we just make more of them and less mistakes.

Last year early I always felt like we were a house of cards, one that the Steelers brought crashing down.

I still feel like so far we've only really faced one opponent that I feel comfortable calling a good team, and even they weren't at their best.

If we can't get better OL play, I'm going to be really concerned when we start facing better teams.

With solid and consistent QB play, we'd be an easy 5-0 right now. Easy! So I am not buying the fact that we're not good.

You just started a thread saying we arent good enough for the playoffs and now you are saying we are. Which is it?

Definitely a lot this team needs to clean up, Minshew made our very good secondary look terrible. Had them pinned down and let Leonard bust off a long one.

And Allen may or may not be a legit starting qb. Had a tough game against the Texans and didn’t look great today. Without CMC busting loose we probably lose. He’s a good game manager right now, not sure he’s the answer if Cam is done
