Nobody thought he was good. Your boy Gettleman did nothing to get us a decent tackle for several years. Plus he was left handed remember?

Of course you dont.

Sometimes the answer is on the roster. Do you remember who said that?

Very likely Gross is playing in the SB if not for Gettleman. We arent stupid enough to think it was Riveras fault the line had no tackles.

What was Michael Oher.?

So wait.

You also agree that we shouldn't trust the professionals that pay LT more than RT, and insinuate that means LT > RT?

Yes. Because questioning moves by a singular organization is comparable to every organizations combined analysis of value. Good call.

Rivera is a 2x NFL Coach Of The Year. The only coach in NFC South history to win 3 consecutive division titles in a division historically that had never even had a back to back champion prior to that feat.

It's not his fault he had a egotistical GM who kept hitting the reset button with talent every season just has the team was starting to ascend.

Now that Hurney is starting to bring talent back in as oppose to losing it. Have no doubt Rivera can get this team to the top of the mountain.

As near as I can tell, Michael Oher never played here.

If he did, a pretty significant portion of the fanbase doesn't seem to remember it.

Maybe because we were all watching Bell do a terrible job while Oher was quietly getting it done?

It's funny when people say we haven't has a LT since Gross. We just tragically lost him too soon.

How did the seasons after the coach of the year awards look? Consistancy matters as much as useless tropheys.

I'd say at the very least we may have a pretty good left tackle right now.

We just won't let him play anything but right tackle.

Well you know what they say, a RT is more valuble than a LT...I think it was Thiesman lol

We went to the divisional rd of the playoffs the next season losing to NFC champs Seattle Seahawks.

Who was the GM when Ron won his Coach of the Year awards?

For that matter, what was his record with the rosters that GM built vs the other guy?

Hint: If you look, you'll find it doesn't do a whole lot to support your argument that the GM was the problem.

Yes because many coaches could have earned a playoff berth with Kelvin Benjamin as the only receiving threat with a bunch of jags. How about the great Melvin White and Robert Lester manning the secondary. He probably should of got coach of the year that season as well.

So if you're saying that the rosters he took to the playoffs were inferior, then why didn't he go to the playoffs in the other years when - according to you - the rosters were better?

We did goto the playoffs in 17 we were heading there in 18 until wheels fell off. 2019 roster is probably the most well rounded we've had, if we can get solid QB play we should able to contend with anyone in the NFC.
