Might have to look at it. Haven't really followed it.

His day job isn't football reporting. He covers science and foreign policy for the Brookings Institute in DC, but he's been writing a football column on the side for about 20 years now. A lot of it goes against the conventional wisdom and thinking. He started at Slate, was on NFL.com for a while but sadly I think he's now behind a paywall at The Washington Post or somewhere.

LTs make significantly more money than RTs. It's the only argument I need. You can link articles to writers opining that it shouldn't be this way because of this, that, and the other but it's irrelevant. The fact is that NFL teams view LT and CB as more difficult to play positions and more difficult positions to fill compared to RT and S and that's why they are paid at a comparatively higher rate. This is really simple stuff. You just love to argue for the sake of argument making a fool of yourself while thinking you're outsmarting everyone else.

It isn't the only argument and again cost doesn't equate to value. A Mercedes Benz costs twice what a Honda does but from a reliability value point of view Honda's are much better cars. You love arguing with no logic or facts. Then when you get bested start with the personal attacks.

I don't like paying for news but everyone seems to be going that way.

Betty White was only good in a 3-4. Anytime the scheme required her to put her hand in the dirt, she just wasn't effective.

Not everybody has that kind of athletic versatility. You don't really think she retired cause of age do you? She was just a victim of that trend where the 3-4 almost went extinct in the NFL for a while.

This is gold.

Best of luck to you heading to the MB dealership to convince them of how their vehicle actually has less value than a Honda.

Makes sense...

Hell of a trash talker, though. Ya gotta give her that.

As long as they have folks willing to overpay they will continue to charge what they can get. I have owned both and I can tell you I will own another Honda but will never buy another Mercedes Kompressor- a money pit.

LTs do make more money but that’s honestly it’s due to antiquated valuation system where the LT was the pass blocker and the RT was the big mauling run blocker who would get an assist from the strong side TE in pass protection. Also most of the best pass rushers would be put on the LT and the run stuffing DEs on the RT.

Now many of the best pass rushers are rushing from the right side of the line and it’s arguable that the RT is just as valuable as the LT. Von Miller, JJ Watt and Khalil Mack have all primarily rushed the RT during their career.

I don't disagree with you on MB (insert Audi and/or BMW too). But, at the end of the day, market value = what people are willing to pay.
